Went for my birthday. Service was amazing and the food was top tier. I was told they only do candles and they still gave me a free dessert! The drinks were timely and great and the atmosphere takes it to another level with the intricate ceiling decor and cultural art work.

This has officially become my new favorite spot. Not just for the food, but the cocktails are absolutely out of this world — I’d honestly go back just for their Cloud Atlas.
We ordered the calamari and the Korean pork kushiyaki, and both were perfectly done. The ambience felt luxurious and elevated, making the whole experience even better.
A special shoutout to Sam, who took care of us — she is truly the best asset this restaurant has. So attentive, professional, and amazing at creating a memorable guest experience. She was outstanding.
Can’t wait to come back!

Very good asian restaurante, nicely located in the a few blocks off Broadway that was recently opened in 2025. Great sushi as well as unique lo mein dishes. The salmon was decent, but felt like something was missing. The walnut shrimp also did not meet the expectations – too much breading. It’s clear that sushi is where Zuzu really shines!

Service was amazing as well! Everyone was super helpful, despite the chaos of NYE. Well done Zuzu!

Food was good. I ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp as an appetizers it took about 10 mins to come out and it was cold. My entree was chicken curry lo mein, with the Brussel sprouts and Asian street corn. The entree was were warm. For cocktails, I ordered the zen forest and the cloud atlas. I sat at the bar but service was very slow.

Wasn’t impressed. The girl that did my table side service for my fried rice acted like she had an attitude and failed to give me the sauce drizzle that goes on top. The menu wasn’t priced properly and they charge for tap water and our table of 15 was not informed of this prior to ordering water, we found out when the bill came. Food was decent but for this I would just go to my local favorite Chinese restaurant. The noodles were not cooked well and had to be sent back to be recooked, my friend ordered a drink that never came. Figured I’d give this a place a try since they have been open “long enough” but really wasn’t that great. Was told the parking is free for 3 hours but it’s only 2. The lychee martini is good but the pricing isn’t marked correctly on the menu and is very misleading , had to talk to the manager- there was just a lot of problems. Tables extremely close and felt like our large party was sitting on top of other guests and hard to find space for the table side fried rice service. Would not go back.

Came here for a birthday dinner from out of town and I probably wouldn’t go back. The servers were really nice but not as attentive considering it wasn’t super busy. Shishito peppers were undercooked. The fried rice was decent but a bit polarizing due to the flavor profiles. I think it’ll be cool if they offered different options like spicy etc. The dumplings were solid and the Zen forest cocktail was delicious. We ordered dessert and they must have brought it on a covered wagon because it took forever. Any decent establishment would have comped it, but It ended up being really good and I didn’t want to make a fuss.

The food, service, and ambiance was nice. The beef rib was delicious. My wife had the table side fried rice and she enjoyed it. The atmosphere give vampire vibes jk. Low lighting and chill music. Our cocktails we’re good. Overall my wife and I had fun experience. Definitely would do it again.

We were really looking forward to dining here. The dumplings, shrimp and sea bass were very good. We ordered lamb chops that were brought out (on table grill) cold. We sent them back (which I cannot remember us ever doing anywhere else). The bartender gal acted like we were bothering her. There were only three tables occupied in the whole place. They brought the same dish out that had been reheated. They were just ‘okay’. There was no apology or any type of reimbursement- which is fine, but it should’ve been at least offered. We won’t be going back. There are many other places to go to in Nashville. Photos attached minus the lamb chops.

We visited Zuzu on a Saturday with an 8:15 reservation. We showed up a little early and sat at the bar. Our reservation time passed and we ended up waiting about 40 minutes. They first tried to seat us at a cramped table downstairs even though we booked upstairs. We insisted on sitting where we made our resy. We waited another 10 minutes or so, and finally got moved.

The manager apologized and brought appetizers and champagne, which was thoughtful and appreciated, but the delay had already thrown the mood off.

We came for the tableside fried rice. Our server told us they could not do it tableside because of the fire alarms. I am not sure if this applied to the whole restaurant or only upstairs. What bothered me was being charged full price for an experience we did not receive. The dish felt like basic takeout fried rice and did not match the cost. I’ll add the photo.

The sea bass was excellent and the oysters were great. We also enjoyed the service at the bar, so if we return, we would choose to sit there.

A lot of attention was given to the ambience of the restaurant I just hope the same effort is given to the customer service and food with this being a new restaurant to Nashville.
