My family and I have been coming here ever since she started parking on smith valley. We love getting shaved ice every chance we can and the kids love it too. They have a wide range of flavors, and all are so yummy! Cindy is always so friendly with everyone and, even with a long line, the wait is never long. We love shaved ice and we will continue to swing in and enjoy this refreshing treat whenever we can! Highly recommend!

We frequent this mobile shaved ice every summer. We always feel this is NOT comparable to those ‘snow cones’ – they are much much better. I have told everyone I know once you try Kukui’s shaved ice, you’ll never go back to Kona ice ever again. Love the dessert and love the lady who owns it. Friendly atmosphere and great shaved ice. We are fans!

There is nothing like Hawaiian Shave Ice. Freshly shaved ice made just for you with delicious flavors, up to three in a small, and yummy toppings are available, too. We drive from the Metro Detroit area to Northern Indiana every summer, in part, to visit Kukui’s Hawaiian Shave Ice. Our most recent trip, we went to Kukui’s every day we were in town.
Kukui’s changed hands this past December and I think they are still feeling their way. But the service was warm and efficient, and when a flavor was gone on Monday, and I requested it, they had brought it back on Tuesday.
If you are a grown up, try the coffee with sweet cream. It.is.so.good. If you’re a kid, my son recommends pineapple and watermelon, or try Bubblegum and cherry, or try raspberry and peach, otherwise known as Peach Melba.
Kukui’s offers ice cream in a few flavors along with nachos and a couple other savory options. But as for us? We go for the Shave Ice.

This is one of the best frozen treats I have tried. It is so different from any icy concoction I have experienced. With so many flavors you may have a hard time deciding so just mix them up and create the flavor of your choosing. I love the coffee, while my son enjoys the blood orange. Great on a hot or cool Shioshewana day!

So many flavors, so little time. What’s this, after you indulge in the hand-made shaved ice smothered with sugary goodness (add the sweet cream), you geta gumball! Sold! Something different and cool treat. They also have ice cream for the lactose tolerant crowd.
