The food is never consistent. I’ve tried the club, chicken Alfredo, pizza, hotdog, burger, and tenders. The club and pizza are the best options from those. The hotdog had slaw, chili, onions, mayo and it tasted like a Vienna sausage with water. Absolutely no flavor. Tenders went from being amazing and then a few years ago they changed them to their weird sponge tender- nasty and not sure if it’s real meat. The place is nasty and during the summer it is so hot in there- can’t imagine what it’s like for the employees to work there. I only go there because my spouse likes the fried chicken.

Im sorry. I dont know where all these good reviews are coming from. Maybe i just went at the wrong time of day. Don’t get anything fried. Its all soggy. Unless its the fries and then just cold and hard. The fried squash is cut paper thin and was greasy. The slaw had a weird taste but also pretty bland. Chicken was bland. The hushpuppies were ok. The mash potatoes and gravy old and thick. The only thing that was ok to eat was the popcorn shrimp and hushpuppies. The shrimp was also cold and soggy. I just so happen to like cold shrimp. Prices were not bad for the amount of food but if you cant eat the food because its old, whats the point ? Yuck

Drove by this place 5-6 times a year for the last 8yrs and never stopped. Finally stopped today and got some chicken & shrimp to go. It was awesome! The restaurant had a great staff too, those ladies were funny and upbeat for having to work first shift on a weekend. I have to say I should have stopped in here sooner!

This restaurant is worth the drive and wait if you want good HOT CRISPY fried chicken gizzards and livers!!! All at a reasonable price. You can get the mixed plate or separate.

This place has everything- except coffee.! Pizza, subs, chicken dinners, various pasta and seafood dinners, rice dishes, milk shakes, all the southern classic sides, etc. There is something here for everyone! Dine in or take out. Very friendly, courteous staff. Highly recommend.

Ordered a ribeye steak sandwich which I’ve done several times and they have always been good an tender. Got home (26 miles) with my order today, the steak was thin as a piece of cardboard, hard and black, see photos. I did call the resturant to let them know.
The response I got was, “ok, I’ll let the kitchen know”. Really???? Check ya plates before you leave. I know they are having some father/son ownership issues but neither of them will have a restaurant with this type of cooking and customer service.

Just passing by on a family roadtrip, we stumbled on the place and got curious “a fried chicken and pizza place is an odd combination” we said. “Let’s get something and hit the road.” Well, pizza is off the options. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, the kids loved the nuggets and their bbq sauce, the fries were good, but the coleslaw…it was glorious! The staff was friendly and patient with me as a newbie who had no idea of their menu. And had lunch for two adults and two kids with food to spare under $30. I would like to try it again.

The fried chicken was perfect but my timing was not. I got there just after church let out on Sunday. It took right at 20 minutes for me to get my food after I ordered it. I look forward to going back again, just not on a Sunday. They were very busy for a reason and it was a good reason.
