We always stop here whenever we are in Enfield. The food is authentic and delicious. Never a disappointment! Plus, Diane is a hoot and makes your dining experience so enjoyable. Had one of their margaritas for the first time and absolutely loved it. Was so smooth! We are huge fans of the Mole, however, their burritos and enchiladas are also fantastic.

It was our second time at Sarape’s and we were just after breakfast cut off but they still let us order breakfast. Our server, Zo, recognized us from last time and even remembered what my toddler likes to eat and that he has allergies. I had the Chorizo con papas with refried beans and it was delicious, my husband had the choose your own breakfast. We’ll definitely be back, thank you so much!

My girlfriend and I went there to eat, since it was close to Bradley Airport.
– The waitress couldn’t understand us.
– No worries, authentic Mexican, right?
– They don’t have sodas on draft. It’s all canned sodas.
– Guacamole was actually pretty impressive and what saved this review from being one-star.
– We ordered “queso dip.”
– What we received was a bowl full of nacho cheese.
– It was $8!!!!
– My girlfriend ordered the chicken flautas.
– They were decent. But so much stuff piled on top of them. Lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, a green sauce, etc. Very little chicken inside the tortilla.
– I ordered the combo fajitas. There were so many vegetables it barely had any protein. For $30, I expect more protein. The meat was dry. Most of the veggies had gotten burnt on the piping hot cast iron skillet.
– You get very little rice and beans on the side, because they add so much guacamole and lettuce and Colby Jack shredded cheese.

Stopped by after a visit at six flags. Some of the best Mexican food. Everyone loved their meals. They even accommodated my vegan requests with veggie enchiladas. Love this place.

IMHO, this place has the best Mexican food in Enfield. Really fantastic: Flautas, Carne Asada, Burittos and great Flan. That said, to date I’ve never had anything here that has disappointed. They also have beer, and a full bar. Usually with a meal you get tortilla chips with three different sauces: pico de gallo, salsa verde and some hot picante.

The food is really good and comes out decently quickly, but it seems they’re not ready to attend many people at once. We were there a Sunday evening and all the tables were full (that’s about 40 people) they only had 2 waiters attending the tables and they forgot to take orders, you had to ask them for things twice and they kept forgetting to come back. If they add a couple more people the place will be excelente!
