Reviews
We strongly recommend anyone that loves seafood for a very good price, to come here.
We had grilled and oven sardines- grilled one was a bit dry- grilled too much i guess. We also had Raki for drink- be careful not the same as the one in Turkey -taste was like grappa. Chips and peppers are delicious. We paid 37eur for 2 people.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High-End Quality without the Wait
I had an incredible dining experience here. The atmosphere is upscale and refined, but the service is remarkably efficient and welcoming.
The Food:
* The Main: I ordered the grilled fish, and it was executed perfectly—crispy skin, flaky, and packed with flavor.
* The Standout: The beetroot salad was genuinely one of the best salads I’ve ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced.
* The Extras: Don’t skip the grilled sardines; they were seasoned beautifully and grilled to perfection.
The Verdict:
It’s rare to find a place that hits the sweet spot of an upscale vibe, fast service, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a top-tier seafood dinner!
The place offers simple, inexpensive local food — fresh but unremarkable. The squid was cooked properly, soft and not rubbery. The fish soup, however, lacked flavor — no seasoning, no depth, nothing particularly exciting.
The peppers were a pleasant surprise, nicely prepared and full of taste — perhaps the best part of the meal.
A regular Greek salad rounded out the experience, fresh and straightforward.
Service was fast, even during the busier hours. Although one dish was mistakenly served, it was quickly corrected with no additional charge — a nice touch.
Overall, this is a decent option for a casual, budget-friendly meal away from the tourist crowds. You’ll find food similar to what’s offered in the Plaka area, but at a lower price. Nothing special — just honest, fresh local cooking.
Definitely recommend it.
I think they have a new shop (?) which is different to the alleyway entrance down in other images.
I’ve added a image of the new shop so it’s easier to identify.
