The restaurant was empty on a Sunday night which was unusual. The waiter asked me if it was our first visit. I thought that was unusual because I had answered yes but then he hid from us for the majority of our visit. I’ve eaten at several locations all over the Valley so when my food arrived I was very surprised to see my calzone because it was about six inches long very tiny. ALL OF TJE PREVIOUS CALZONE IN THE PAST WERE HUGE! I was completely scammed and I bet that’s why no one was in that restaurant well only three other couples. My husband’s dish was huge and was what he has always recieved in the past. My canzone wasn’t much sized but it was served on that size plate. I’ve ordered Calzones for lunch in Phoenix, Tempe, Two Scottsdale locations and in Chandler and had always been around 20 inches long. The waiter also had asked if I wanted regular size or a large one and I had never been asked that question in 10 years so I did say regular because they are huge. I have never heard of two sizes and I would have asked when did start doing two sizes and why didn’t he explain that it was going to be so small. Needless to say I was very disappointed!!! In this economy we very rarely eat dinner out so I only pick excellent food which are craveable. I also don’t expect to ripped off at dinner.We will not ever go back to that location. Streets of New York is way better.

This really sweet girl took great care of me. She was awesome, didn’t catch her name. I also didn’t catch the name of the man who made the pizza, but not only did he whip up a 10/10 margarita pizza (he was on the line all by himself for the majority of my stay) he did it while dealing with this guy who just couldn’t stop bitching about the pizza. But he kept eating it when he walked away tho. Guy kept his composure and kept the business rolling. Will be back fast.

Aimrii and Shelby were AMAZING! Their customer service was easily the best we have had at any restaurant. Attention to detail, they love kids and overall were so kind. They deserve to be praised! If you want to have a great day go see those ladies!

The best crew I’ve come across in a very long time. Upbeat, helpful, super nice people. They have a decadent and delicious dessert option. Baked pizza dough, served warm and covered with lots of powdered sugar. No wonder I’m a diabetic. Highly recommend this place!

Very authentic delicious pizza! The meatballs are delicious. The wings are flavorful and fresh. Everything was made to order, pizza was piping hot. So flavorful and great blue cheese and ranch, must have with the wings.

NY Pizza Department has a great selection of pizza and Italian cuisine. I got the biggest canzone I’ve ever seen. The pizza is phenomenal and the staff are very friendly. The price is satisfactory and the atmosphere is homey. It feels like you’re in a nice city landscape with brick wall structures and warm lights.

We love everything about NYPD Pizza. This was our first time visiting this location in Gilbert. The restaurant was clean, service was great and food as always was great as well. We always start with the garlic knots and then we get a pizza. It’s pretty good pizza for when we are missing the real deal NY pizza. The crust here on their pizza is very good. Would definitely return to this location.

After running errands we decided to check this place out for lunch and I’m glad we did!
They have a very good assortment of pizzas you can buy by the slice. Many different types of lunch combos and I decided to get a slice of their Bianca pizza as I love ricotta, and a specialty salad. I was told I could even afford on additional toppings. So I added sausage and pepperoni- this was a flavor bomb. Delish!
I also got a crispy chicken spinach salad as part of the lunch combo. I was very impressed with the amount of warm crispy perfectly seasoned chicken. With every bite I got spinach, bacon, red onion, mushrooms, sliced almonds, mozzarella and chicken. Also loved the dressing. It was light yet flavorful. Though it was a small sized salad, it was extremely satisfying and I was very full.
The staff is very friendly and the manager even stopped by our table and asked how everything was.
They have a self serve drink section and even have a very cute bar with a couple of TV’s.

It is so obvious that the company takes great care of him (and if not, they should!), as he shows tremendous pride in representing this restaurant!
It is also very clear that he loves and cares for this place like it’s his own! Dining here is like dining in your own home; it’s very comfortable for families, and individuals; and has great food, including Vegan options (Daiya Dairy-Free Cheese)!
Dawson goes above and beyond for customers and is professional, kind, sincere, patient and proud to serve his community!

Our first experience at this establishment was unacceptable and there needs to be change for there to be any chance for me and my family to come back. When we got our wings it seemed like they just put the sauce over the wings rather than mixing the wings and sauce together properly. The main issue i had was with the fact that there was no flavor with the pizza at all, almost like you had covid again. I am not 100% sure but it also seemed like the toppings on the pizza were also frozen before being put into the oven. We had good service and the workers were polite but that doesn’t excuse the poor food we ate. I am not writing this out of anger but rather to help them improve so others have a better first experience than I did
