Ughhh if I could give 0 stars I would. They serve the nastiest food. Had to bring my food back because the food looked terrible& the staff is unprofessional. Every time I come the food is terrible. I come because it’s close to my house and my kids love McDonald’s, but I will not ever let them eat from this specific location again or maybe it’s time to just stop eating McDonald’s.

This place has trash food pretty much everytime. They should fire all managers and start fresh. Usually when u get a burger it’s drowned in ketchup to mask the fact that it old and dry. Tonight I got French fries covered in salt so much I couldn’t eat them. The lady must have been pissed I asked for fresh French fries since I was waiting 20 minutes for ice cream and didn’t want my kid eating cold fried they gave me before they told me to pull forward and forgot about me.

At this McDonald’s, hope is packaged in paper bags and handed through windows with the grave uncertainty of a cosmic gamble. Each visit is a ritual of faith: I order McNuggets, request Sweet ‘N Sour sauce, that humble nectar, the only alchemy capable of transforming processed chicken into fleeting joy, and then drive away believing perhaps this time the universe will be kind.

It is never kind.

Time after time, I arrive home, open the bag, and stare into the void where my sauce should be. There is always a brief moment of denial, a searching hand sweeping past napkins and salted fries like an archaeologist desperate to uncover lost treasure. But the truth waits, inevitable as gravity: there is no sauce. There never was.

And yet I return, trapped in a cycle as old as human longing. Because sometimes, rarely, miraculously, they remember, and in that moment sweetness outweighs suffering. That is how hope survives: not in certainty, but in the improbable miracle sauce packet that might appear one day.

Three stars. For the fries. For the persistence of human hope. And for the Sweet ‘N Sour packets that haunt my dreams like tiny golden promises, forever missing from the bag.

My food and service is always wonderful at the McDonald’s in Chatham, IL. However the elderly in Chatham always seem to complain about their $2.00 fry being lukewarm after 30 minutes of it being on their plate or belittling the earnest, young employees about app and mobile orders. But as soon as a tall manager man comes to handle the abuse, the angry customers seem to let go of the attitude. I’m sorry you guys have to put up with that. It’s the old people who don’t believe in conflict management or accountability – not the employees who are trained on making sure food is good and guested are happy. I work at Chipotle. I know how annoying it is when they demand for more or a lot instead of politely asking double ! Keep rocking McDonald’s in Chatham.
I hope the mean man in his 50s learns his ways after he got his free cheeseburger after complaining and acting like a baby. I tipped the young employee $5 who received the crybaby’s tears. And made sure the manager gave it to her ☺️

I’ve had the WORST experiences at a McDonald’s ever at this location. When I was waiting for my order for 30 minutes, there was another customer that said he was waiting for a single happy meal for an hour and a half. When another customer mentioned it to the manager, he said, “Well let me just snap my fingers and make up appear out of thin air.” Eventually, the guy that ordered the happy meal left empty handed. Other customers were getting very impatient and started yelling at the staff by the time I left. This restaurant needs a complete different staff.

Ordered two double cheese burgers cheese only. Get 2 double cheese burgers with everything on it. Plus waited 15 minutes for fast food that wasn’t right. Cashier didn’t even say hi looked like she didn’t even want to be there and gave sas to me. And people wonder why i gave up going to McDonald’s and choose dairy queen all the time.

I sat in the drive thru for over 25 minutes. I ordered a #7 large. I asked for my fries fresh. I got a medium drink, when I told the guy it was supposed to be large, he just said “it says a medium” and ignored it. And my fries were cold. You need new employees, the night shift has NO idea what they are doing, or they are just pure lazy.
