We decided we’d still go out for a bite to eat, but we weren’t sure where — then I remembered Indidog.
This was the Friday before Christmas, so I didn’t think we’d have any chance of getting a table, but I rang anyway. The owner was lovely and said he could squeeze us in. Honestly, I think we had the best table in the restaurant. It was cosy and romantic, and the atmosphere was wonderful. There were lots of Christmas parties and people celebrating, with all the festive tunes playing too.
The service was second to none all evening — we were really impressed.
Onto the food: it was faultless, and we enjoyed every course. We had the scallop starter, followed by the fish of the day (hake). Oh my goodness — the flavours! My taste buds were having a party of their own.
I’ve been to Indidog a few times before with girlfriends and my daughter for lunch, but this was the first time my husband had been. He absolutely loved the layout, the décor, and the staff, who were all perfectly trained — so lovely and engaging. In our opinion, great service really makes a restaurant (along with the food, of course).
The food was impeccable.
Thank you all for making our alternative evening such a special one
I was greeted by a wonderful team who instantly made me feel welcome, and a delicious breakfast made from local produce.
What’s not to like! I look forward to going back soon.
What a gem INDIDOG Harbourside Restaurant is! We popped in for brunch on New Year’s Day and it was the perfect way to kick off 2026. The setting right on Falmouth’s harbour wall is stunning – uninterrupted panoramic views over the water, boats bobbing gently, and that fresh Cornish sea air. It’s modern, stylish, and feels so relaxed yet special.
The food was simply outstanding: fresh, locally sourced ingredients shining through in every dish. Our brunch choices were delicious, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented – easily some of the best we’ve had anywhere.
But what really made the experience unforgettable was the service. The lovely Faye looked after us from start to finish with the warmest, friendliest smile and genuine attentiveness. Nothing was too much trouble – she made us feel so welcome and added that extra sparkle to the morning.
INDIDOG is dog-friendly too, which is a huge bonus, and the whole team clearly loves what they do. We’ll be back very soon – highly recommend for anyone visiting Falmouth! Thank you for a fabulous start to the year.
The waiting staff are really friendly and take pride in real, authentic hospitality. and though it’s been a little on the slow side a few times, i really never mind because everyone is so lovely and I’m distracted by the gorgeous view.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy that much was the scallops, the combination of flavours (corn and bacon) didn’t quite hit the spot, though the scallops themselves were delicious.
Will definitely return. Always takes me on a nostalgia trip as I used to frequent this place when it was a rickety old student pub called Watermans unrecognisable now and just stunning.
