I’m a big fan of La Guerra, especially their quesadillas! I’ve noticed they’ve become a bit pricier and smaller lately, but I completely understand given the current economic climate. The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming, though the service could benefit from better organization—perhaps assigning team members to specific stations would help things run more smoothly. That said, the food is absolutely delicious and keeps me coming back!

Immediately gagged when I saw the poop inside of the shrimp (that I had to cut open), unacceptable. How lazy do you have to be to not devein shrimps? The poop and intestinal lining in these shrimps that were given to me were EXCESSIVE!!!! They also did not follow order instructions at all! $$$ down the drain and wasted on a business who uses low quality ingredients with no true care or concern for their customers. I cannot stop gagging at this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation and went with my boyfriend. He ordered steak with rice and beans, and I ordered tacos. While eating, I found a hair in my tacos, which was very disappointing. I usually don’t complain, but after seeing similar reviews, I felt it was important to share my experience. Never going back there.

I had a hankering for some tacos, I was directed to this place and let me tell you, it was a hit! I got chorizo tacos, corn in a cup and a large horchata! I highly recommend this little gem!!! I ate in for a late lunch, I love the open kitchen! I like to see my food being made!!! I’m definitely coming back!!!

The friendly server recommended the steak, fries, pico de Gallo and rice with avocado, a it was a smashing hit; my partner ordered a beef quesa-birria taco with a hand made tortilla.
This place definitely was a great stop in the outskirts of the city; would highly recommend this experience to anyone.

This place was absolutely amazing. Starting from the customer service to the food. All EXCEPTIONAL service. I came from NYC to Philly to visit some friends. I stopped by this place to eat and they treated us so well! I also brought my service dog and they made us feel at home, that they even offered him water which truly meant so much to me. Thank you for the amazing food and for making us feel so welcome!

Was recommended by co-worker from work and was the biggest mistake of my life. October 1st, 2025 ordered quesabirria which was recommended by the server, chips, and guacamole. That same exact night vomited the whole entire night along with fever and had to go the hospital was diagnosed with food poisoning. I suggest anyone to avoid this place at all cost. Seems like this place does not have sanitary procedures.
