I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Indian restaurant, and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Every dish we ordered was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that went into preparing each dish. everything was super delicious and satisfying.

What truly made the experience stand out, though, was the service. The owner was extremely nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our meal. The attentiveness and genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome, almost like we were guests in someone’s home.

If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Indian food with top-notch service, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back!

This restaurant is a true gem, starting with the server and the owner, who were welcoming and gracious. The buffet was extensive (and immaculate) with eleven brilliantly prepared vegetarian and vegan items, as well three dishes for the meat lovers! Everything was beautifully seasoned, and the lemon rice was an aromatic treat! Oh, and speaking of treats, don’t skip dessert! Highly recommend!!

I have been going to Tanjore for more than two decades but never written a review. So, it is time to correct that & express my gratitude to a restaurant which under the new ownership of Kamraj, is even better than ever before. Located in the plaza next to the Fishkill post office plaza, it is small place that excels in quality Indian food. I love the buffets served every day of the week, with Saturday & Sunday offering more variety. From fish in coconut sauce, goat meat biryani, lemon rice, aloo bhaji & puri, cauliflower 65, very moist & delicious tandoori chicken, which I like to dunk with some of the sauce in the chicken tikka masala. There is something for everyone. If you are going for the first time, try the buffet to discover your favorites. The manager, Thiyagarajan, & servers, Joy & Jerico are friendly, welcoming & eager to please. Highly recommend!

Finally! Found a true Indian cuisine taste in the area. Wow! They did not disappoint. The best part it was out of chance and Google .

My entry point is always Dal and some Roti. Took it mild as to be able to appreciate the flavors. It took me to a place that I had only reached back in Taste of India (Astoria, NY) and some other place in Miami I can’t recall. It felt natural, made in house, fresh and made by someone that care to preserve and show us what good Indian food feels like. Thank you!

The atmosphere is calm, clean and clear. Well organized and distributed. Neat and quickly rearranged, you feel you are the first one going in.

The service was also up to expectations. Very attentive and diligent. Cyril and another young gentleman took good care of me, even when my order was perhaps simple or not big. I felt welcomed.

We visited Beacon town for the weekend and decided to try the lunch buffet at Tanjore Cuisine of India — and it did not disappoint! The entire experience was amazing, with a wide variety of appetizers, main courses, and desserts.

Among the appetizers, the Chicken 65, Gobi Chilli, and Chicken Hariyali were standout favorites — packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The biryani in the main course was incredibly aromatic and delicious, and the Chicken Tikka was tender, juicy, and full of spices.

For dessert, the Gajar ka Halwa was absolutely delightful — warm, rich, and just the right amount of sweet.

The ambiance was comfortable, and the owner was extremely kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving some authentic Indian flavors!

Twice a week I enjoy a delicious Lassi cocktail at this establishment. It never disappoints. A wonderful compliment to whatever entrée your heart desires. Coconut rice, goat spaghetti, or whatever other Indian delight you prefer. The servers are warm and very attentive. Tanjore is fast becoming a home away from home. Love this place.

Worth the trip but be prepared.

The pros: great tasting food for the price. Food is definitely cooked with a good hand. Fish curry was really delicious.

The cons: typical Indian politics. The waiter forgets all about the people at the table and you have to hunt him down to get a water refill or extra napkins or the bill. We are not in India, time to get it together and level up on the wait staff service.

Improve the customer service and you will get increased business.

Lunch was a 45 minute wait for the food to appear of which I saw the waiter once in 45 minutes.

I’d think twice about going again.

I was looking for a late night place to eat and was a little hesitant to go into Tanjore, but I ‘m so glad I did. There is a wide variety of dishes, but I wanted something that was not too saucy and I ordered a chicken dish that had fermented yogurt and onions and other delicious flavors but I don’t remember the name of it. Luckily Joey, who is a server there, remembered me from the first time I went there and kindly reminds me of what I got each time which blows me away and makes me smile. Now I have brought my friends and my family and I go alone often and it’s just as good every time. And my friends and family love it as well and I’m always happy that Joey is my server
