TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Everyone who’s giving complaining about wait time has never worked a customer service job in their life, give them a break! This location is new so longer wait times are expected while they figure everything out. I came through the drive through and the line was wrapped around the doors The service and wait times were just fine for me. The food itself is halal certified which is amazing the taste was good as well I just give 4 stars instead of 5 cause I wish the chicken itself was more seasoned. Other than that I have no complaints and am happy that they opened!

Absolutely loved my experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and incredibly juicy on the inside. The spice levels are legit — I tried the hot and it had the perfect kick without overpowering the flavor. The sliders were packed with flavor, the fries were seasoned just right, and the sauce tied everything together perfectly.
The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the place was clean and well organized. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. If you’re a fan of Nashville-style hot chicken, this spot is a must-try!

I stopped by the new Dave’s Hot Chicken and honestly, it was so worth it. The place was packed like a real opening-day crowd which just shows how excited everyone has been. I ordered the Dave’s #2 and wow… crispy, juicy, perfectly spicy, and just full of flavor. And the best part? They gave me extra sauces before I even had to ask! That right there is next-level service. Everything tasted super fresh and made to order.
I used to literally drive all the way to Oakley just to get my Dave’s fix, so having one right here in Mason feels amazing and so convenient. Big congratulations to the entire crew for pulling off such a busy grand opening, that’s not easy at all!
And just a small note to customers: let’s give the team a little grace and time to fully adapt to the Dave’s POS system and everything that comes with a brand-new location. They’re working hard, and you can see the effort.
So happy we finally have Dave’s in Mason. This is definitely going to be my regular spot!

Had lunch here today, walked in around 11:30, immediately placed our order, sat down, had our food within 5 minutes!! Food was perfection!! Can’t wait to come back!! We each had the #1, chicken was tender, breading was perfection! Bravo!!

Stopped by the newly opened Dave’s Hot Chicken and it absolutely lived up to the hype! You can tell it just opened because the drive-through had long queues — but that’s always a good sign. Despite the rush, the staff was extremely courteous, organized, and kept things moving smoothly.

3/6/26 – That drive thru took forever! (Hour and 10 minutes) call me crazy but I was committed. I got the #3 and it was phenomenal. Chicken was the perfect texture and not rubbery. My only complaint beside the long wait was that there wasn’t any empathy for the long wait. Hopefully when you guys are up and running it will be quicker. Awesome food!

Food is really good. Ordering is fairly quick. But it’s been 30 minute since I ordered and even the people before me haven’t gotten their food yet. Don’t come here when it’s busy. It’s funny the racks for the food apps are full. Meaning the people that are not here have their food ready and the people that are here don’t have their food.

Came here for the first time. The drive-thru line was slow and wouldn’t move, so I got out after waiting 10 minutes and went inside to order. After placing my order inside the restaurant, I waited 20 minutes for my food. After waiting the food was good and was worth the wait after spending so much time waiting.
