I visited yesterday and was really impressed. The portions were huge, the food was delicious, and the chai was absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly and provided great service with genuine smiles.
At checkout, the machine showed tipping options starting from 10%. These days, many restaurants with very little service start at 18% or higher, so it felt refreshing and humble. I truly hope this restaurant continues to succeed, because this is exactly the kind of place that deserves to receive tips.
Also, I was curious about the “Karai Chicken.” In Japanese, karai means “spicy,” so I found the name amusing and interesting. I’ll definitely try it next time. Highly recommended!

Food is really good! We had the tandoori dinner, butter chicken, mango lassi and mint chutney. Everything was delicious and satisfying. However butter chicken came in a small bowl and we wish its portion was bigger
Service was genuine and great from the gentleman, which is rare these days.

As a huge fan of Indian cuisine, I was excited to try Tandoori Kona for the first time. While the food arrived fresh and piping hot, my experience fell a bit short of expectations. The seasonings were okay, but overall, the flavors felt a little mediocre and lacked the boldness I usually crave in Indian dishes.
I ordered the dinner set, and while convenient, I suspect some items might have been preheated, which could explain why certain elements (like the naan or curries) didn’t feel as vibrant or freshly made. That said, the quality of ingredients and the prompt service were definite pluses!

This is the first day that the BC Vaccine Card in effective, the waiter check my ID and also my friends, polite & efficient.
After some time, some party come without the vaccine card, the restaurant refuses to let them in, that’s a good sign for protection.
Talk about the food now, the papadums is not very crispy enough, a little bit chewy therefore I think it’s sit for a long time. The prawn biryani is taste good but not much prawns inside. The lamb rogan josh is just okay with the same problem too, not much lamb. Tandoori chicken is so so, not juicy inside.
As I know, they have a lot of takeout & delivery, so I think they mostly focus on that and forget the dine in customers.
Overall experience is service is good but food is below average, I will give them one more chance, hope they can manage the food properly next time I visit.

A nice and great restaurant not far from the Airport. They have variety of food and options and it tastes nice. I also tried their samosas and Paratha with Indian masala chae which was great. The staff is really nice and welcoming specially the young lady at the counter. She provided us with extra pickle and chatni and didn’t charge us. Highly recommended and will surely visit this place again

Been coming regularly to this Tandoori Restaurant since 2018! It’s the best I’ve tried. Always fast and amazing service. The food is always fresh and tastes the same every time. Prices are reasonable, highly recommend! (pictures are from a few years ago◡̈)
