A once beloved establishment of mine has sadly changed for the worst. I was excited to take my girlfriend on a lunch date to Yuki – a place myself and friends have gone to for years. I always recalled the delicious food, generous portions, and energetic hibachi chefs.

Upon entering we were met with a lukewarm greeting. When we asked to do the hibachi tables we were questioned if we were both buying lunch, in a sort of judgy or “won’t be able to seat us” was if we said we were going to share.

For how empty it was at lunch, I was hopeful to have quick service. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It took a while for the dated table to get warm and only ordering sodas took a little bit. About 30 mins into after being seated was the chef finally coming out.

We got hibachi lunch, which is a much smaller portion than the normal. I recalled in the past it came with the usual soup and salad, but I could be mistaken since we were asked if we wanted one or the other.

Our chef was friendly, but you could tell there was 0 passion. I recalled the days of getting a grandiose show, vegetables flying, saki squirting everywhere, but sadly this time it was right to the point. The performance was very underwhelming too as the only main highlight was the onion volcano, but the rest was fumbled upon or missed completely. With that, our chef was also wearing his AirPod the entire time, which just added to the disinterested aspect. All said, the cook show aspect lasted only 4 minutes, which leads me to my next concern – the cook of the food.

The food is where I am sad to say this place really has dropped the ball. Lunch used to come with A LOT more food and for a lower price. I understand the economy is rough right now, but cutting back on portions while raising the prices for lesser quality food is sad. The rice was well done but not too fried as I am used to. The vegetables were great and both were well costed in the teriyaki sauce.

Now to the meats. When we saw our chef cut up the meat, I could see it was very much raw. We both got steak and asked for medium rare as other reviews said they have typically overcooked their meats. I wish this was the case for us. After slicing the meat, sadly he just seared the edges and gave it to us. I was eating and the bigger pieces started to be harder to chew. Eventually I bit halfway into one to inspect and it was absolutely cold and raw red in the middle. I attached an image of that for your reference.

When we were done the meal, I brought to the attention of the hostess that my steak was cold and raw in the middle to which I was offered a “sorry” as she grabbed my dish walked away and back with the check.

I am sad that this once loved place really declined in the last year or so. I hope they take these reviews to heart and change back to their old ways.

Got the hibachi and sweet potato roll, all was amazing. Hibachi chef seemed a bit low energy but me being introverted i didn’t mind that, but i know people do come for a bright loud and exciting hibachi experience. Staff was nice, wait time was all within reason would recommend!

This was always our go to spot for Japanese food. Unfortunately today was very disappointing. Seems like the Sushi chef just didn’t care. Maki rolls were falling apart, sushi and sashimi were cut unevenly, plus he didn’t bother to give us the ginger and wasabi. A very messy presentation. The waitress is always nice, can’t fault her. Also the prices seemed a little higher than usual.

Super friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere alone will bring me back. Not to mention the fresh and super tasty food! It’s tough at first to overlook the dingy front room, but beyond that, it is a must try location for Japanese food. The hibachi is in a separate room from the front so you can enjoy a relaxing dinner without the noise of larger parties. The sushi is fantastic, and even our none fish loving group members enjoyed it!

Yuki has solid Asian food, from sushi to hibachi there’s lots of options in their menu. Service is friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend this place.

Do not come here. There was zero service and was so quiet you could hear your own heartbeat. The sushi was WARM!!! The shrimp had clearly turned bad. I did not eat but 3 bites. Overpriced for awful food. If you think booze will lighten the experience, think again. I tried multiple drinks and I questioned if there was even alcohol in any of them..

We love getting sushi here. It’s always delicious and super fresh. Every visit we have the same great service and food. The drinks are strong and not over priced. You need to check out the sushi boat!

I had much Ramen, especially during two weeks in Japan. The ramen served here was nothing like that. The pork was charred and too thick. The charred flavor seeped into the soup and gave it a bad after taste. Like it had burned on the stove. Minus two stars for that.
The waiter also mistook my order and only provided us one ramen for two adults. Minus two stars for that.
The fried rice and maki was fine.

The sushi, octopus, soup and crab Rangoons were delicious, the beef yakisoba was okay. We stopped in for lunch at noon and it was very quiet, the restaurant was very clean and the employees were very friendly and quick to offer help. They described some items on the menu with good detail and the food was brought out pretty quickly. My girlfriend said she would like to return for some of their specialty rolls, so we will.

Silent, dated hibachi room. No music played at all, stone silent. Service was almost non existent. It took 20 minutes to even get a drink. The hibachi chef must have been going through something, because the food was overcooked, and he had no personality. The entertainment was very lackluster. There was no saki at all, and the whole experience was very somber and off-putting. I wasn’t even able to eat the shrimp as they tasted of mold. I would not recommend. Please just close down.
