The desserts.. salads.. and drinks were perfect. Definitely recommend this for intimate occasions, dates, or special treat with your little girls. I def recommend the cucumber sandwich!! All the macaroons were amazing!!

We had a good experience at Teagan’s Enchanted Tea Room. It’s a cute new spot in the increasingly interesting Old Town Newhall Main Street area. We’ve had afternoon / high tea at places all over Los Angeles (and at a couple of the famous department stores in London) and found that this one generally did a good job of giving everything you’d expect from the experience.

The staff were very friendly and took great care of us.

The food was plentiful and reasonably priced for a full tea service. (Pot of tea, sandwiches, scones and desserts all included.) Everything was gorgeous. The desserts (which we brought home) were delicious. The tea we had was good too. We tend to prefer a straight classic tea flavor (like a Darjeeling which they didn’t have) and they do have a few basic flavors, but the bulk of their menu is various blends. So interesting to try but felt heavy on those leaving classic tea flavors a little bit of an afterthought on their menu.)

The scones were okay, but unlike other places where you get clotted cream and jam and lemon curd, you could only pick one of these and had to pay extra to get an additional one, so that was a little bit disappointing…at least compared to just about every other tea experience like this we’d had.

There’s a ton on the menu besides tea so if you go with someone, or a group of someones who tea isn’t their thing, they’ll have plenty to choose from, and as vegetarians we were happy that there were several tea sandwich options for us, as well as items on the rest of the menu.

We’d defiitely come back.

Very rude staff, their timing on reservations is horrible, we didn’t enjoy any part of our visit due to them being rude, disrespectful and rushing our reservation due to them having very poor planning skills and telling us we had to leave within an hour and a half of our reservation time due to a booking of a private party, which they didn’t notify us about when we made the reservation. Also, I could hear one of the staff members cussing and sounding very unprofessional while walking my daughter to the bathroom. The staff here need to have better planning skills if they are going to be doing reservations and private events, they also need training on how to be at least nice to customers, especially when we were not rude about any of the things that I have mentioned in this review. We made this reservation so the kids could enjoy a cute, friendly tea place, but the staff was even rude to the kids. One of our girls asked if she could have a non tea drink in one of the cups they have on their menu, since we did not want the kids to have caffeinated drinks, and the waitress very rudely said I’ll see what I can do and then came back and very bluntly said that “no she can not have the drink in that cup because she didn’t have enough cups and didn’t want to waste one on her”. I mean who talks like that to customer and in front of little kids. Very upset about how our experience was.

We had lunch here today and it was great! The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. I liked the variety of menu options and the tea blends were fun to choose from. I highly recommend this place for special occasions as well as breakfast (served all day) or lunch. We’ll definitely be back!

Breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day, and for me, quality makes all the difference. At Teagan’s, I found the perfect match: amazing coffee and delicious food, all served with care. From my very first visit, it was clear this place had something special—it quickly became my go-to breakfast spot. If you’re someone who appreciates a great cup of coffee paired with a tasty, satisfying meal, Teagan’s won’t disappoint!

I really wish I could say I enjoyed my experience here. The atmosphere is absolutely adorable, but I wish they had put as much effort into what they were serving.
Three of us went in for an Afternoon Tea, and all three of us had painfully over-steeped tea. (We had to drown it in sugar and cream to make it drinkable.) The scones had good flavor, but were over baked and quite dry, and the accompanying toppings were confusing; the lavender cream was so light that it felt like eating air, and the lemon curd ended up being a lemon cream. The pastries on top were okay, but tasted more like they had been store bought rather than made in house (although I obviously can’t know if they actually were). The highlight was definitely the sandwiches, I really liked the Teagan’s Turkey! The service was lacking, but they were decently busy at the time so I can’t fault that too much.
Overall, I think this place could be great with some fine tuning on the food.

Tea was delicious, served hot or cold, fruit and salad yummy, scones were magical, sandwiches really good, but the desserts were awful. The petifore was tasty, but the macarons, puddings, and trifle were not good at all. The service was ok, but not excellent. The ladies were really nice but not very attentive. It was supposed to be all you can drink tea, but we were never asked if we wanted a refill. They were busy but there were empty tables, so it didn’t seem like they were overwhelmed. Also, it said $35 online but was $50 when we walked in….maybe a Mother’s Day thing? Overall a fun experience. I’d do again.
