Pleasantly surprised! Stayed at the University Plaza while on a work trip and my group decided we’d eat in as the weather was so terrible. I got the chopped steak that was smothered in mushroom gravy with a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli. This was $19 and it was absolutely delicious! Even came with a salad! Other people in the group got the shrimp and scallops and the fettuccine Alfredo. Everything was really good and fairly priced. The wait staff was very nice and professional. I would definitely come back here! The venue is really pretty too. Large windows overlooking a green outdoor area right next to the water, upscale feel. I heard they were having staffing issues and the restaurant was even closed on Monday 3/27 because of it. If you’re in the area, consider trying them out!

This was my first sit-down meal experience at this restaurant. We were seated right away and quickly given water, however, it took a while before our server came to get our drink orders. After receiving our drinks, it took a while before we got our order taken. The restaurant was not busy, so I didn’t understand the long wait periods.
It was a Friday during Lent, so I ordered the grilled salmon with the sweet chili sauce on the side, along with the clam chowder. As an appetizer, we ordered the grilled artichoke to start. The artichoke was a good size and prepared well. It was tender and you could taste the smokiness of the grill. Absolutley delicious! The clam chowder was like wallpaper paste. It was thick and gloppy; not very good. The salmon was nothing spectacular. It was a tail portion, grilled all the way through (I prefer mine just slightly underdone), served over a bed of rice pilaf with broccolini. Overall, the meal was good, but a bit overpriced for what we got. If they ever do the prime rib buffet again, I would give them another try.

Great place to come have a good drink and food. bartender kris, he sure knows how to make his drinks and keep customers entertained, best bar tender in town!. Food is always delicious! It’s never a disappointment. If your in town want to get a good drink and some delicious food stop by you won’t be disappointed.

Food is OK. Improve customer service. Updat the atmosphere and this place will be great again. Currently the vibe is just screaming boring people eat and drink here. Don’t you guys want to make money? Don’t you want to give your employees more hours? Increase their pay? Need to improve your drink and food menu. Menu should wake taste buds up for folks not dribble a bed time story to put them to sleep if that is what most of your guests want. But this place used to be hopping! Now its just a sopping boring mess. Tell your managers to wake up!!!! Bring the life back to Stockton!!! Throw grad night specials! Love you guys but stop being boring

Was not staffed properly for events that were occurring. There was a cheer competition and a concert of some sort going on. Took 30 minutes to get our order taken and server never came back to ask us about refills. Servers were not assigned to any sections and were taking orders at random throughout. Management needs to know events that are occurring and properly staff the restaurant. Food was decent. The supervisor on staff didn’t seem to care and even snapped and talked rudely to another guest that was complaining of the situation.

I have a mixed review. Setting is quiet, great views and friendly staff. We ordered fried calamari which was good. Husband ordered the Delta Burger. It was big, fresh and cooked as ordered with sweet potatoe fries. Very tasty. I ordered the sweet chili garlic salmon with cilantro lime rice and seasonal vegetables. Quite disappointed, it was served with plain white rice, bland frozen Normandy blend. Salmon was glazed with what seemed to be sweet chilli sauce out of a bottle. Waiter checked on us regularly and I told him I wasn’t impressed with my meal. He took meal off our tab without being asked to. We appreciated the gesture. We will give it another try, I just won’t order the salmon.

The wine list had plenty of options and my tortellini was excellent. The staff were very attentive, all-in-all a nice meal to end the day. I doubt I would have dined here had I not been staying at the hotel but if you are staying, the Delta will be great for you.
