Stop for a Friday night snack, I love potato oles . It’s 10 o’clock and they close at 11pm (lobby at 10). All exterior lighting was turned off and no one came to the drive through. You could tell the employees where there, just not doing their job and serving their customers.

No music playing. Single tv is off. Oles are perfect! Taco meat wa bland, seemed too watery. Cashier was friendly and efficient.

I’ve been craving crunchy tacos lately. It’s a little bit embarrassing for me to admit that as a Latino man, I occasionally indulge in crunchy tacos. But it is what it is.
As I was driving down the highway, I saw a sign for taco johns. I’ve never eaten at a taco john’s. I’ve never even heard of taco johns for that matter. But it is conveniently located directly next to taco bell. I know taco bell has crunchy tacos, but I don’t want to get a case of dysentery. So I went to taco john’s to give it a try.
First things first. This place is way overpriced! After looking over their menu, I ordered a six pack and a pound. That’s six crunchy, tacos and one pound of tater tots. $14.99. And a medium drink. $3.39. My total after-tax was $19.61.
The only difference between a taco john’s taco, and a taco bell taco, is that taco johns does not break your shell. And they look like they took their time to make your food. Because the lettuce, cheese and meat are still tucked into the shell. Other than that, they taste pretty much exactly the same.
I don’t know if taco bell has tater tots on their menu. Even though they are very tasty, I really didn’t need a whole pound of fried tater tots.
In conclusion, taco john’s is just taco bell with a neater product, and a higher price tag.

Edit: The day after I ate here taco john’s wreaked havoc on my digestive system. I spent a considerable part of the day running back and forth to the bathroom.

I’ll never eat here again!

Okay so imagine this you are hungry want a burrito order the most expensive on on the menu. They charge you you go to get your food to be told they been out of product for a couple days but they will happily make me anything else that was cheeper but wouldn’t comisate the difference on price.

Then imagine having to wait 10 additional minutes for a refund because no on there simply wanted to do that and wanted me to substitute.

Save your money go around the corner to taco bell cleaner there too

I went inside to pick up a order for a customer through the company I work for and I told the employee that I also wanted to place a simple order of Potato Oles (medium) and the employee said “okay” and then walked away, another employee walked up to the counter and even with my card and wallet in my hand, instead of greeting me and taking my simple order they completely ignored me and started helping the customer that stood BEHIND me!…I find that to be super rude and very disrespectful! So I give this place a negative 5 star for customer service! I will NEVER go there to eat, thats for sure!!!!

Super grateful to the staff that did show up today! Service was slow. Spent $30 on food and bottled water only to get to Cheyenne realizing we were missing bottles of water, and our bean and cheese only burritos had onions and sauce in them. Staff was kind.

I went to Taco John’s expecting a quick bite, but ended up waiting 30 minutes for just one meal — and it wasn’t even busy. There was barely anyone inside or in the drive-thru, so there’s no excuse for the delay.

When I finally got my food, the portions were ridiculously small. It looked like they just threw it together without any care. I felt like I was given a kid’s snack, not an actual meal I paid for.

Between the long wait and the barely-there food, this was a complete letdown. Definitely won’t be coming back to this location. Taco John’s, do better.

Staff was pleasant and food was prompt and correct. It was slow for a Saturday but the cashier continued to restock to be prepared for a rush. Dining room down to the chair bottoms were clean. One star short of five due to dining music broken or off and cash only on the register (it shouldn’t take more than a few days to get software issues fixed or hardware sent from your supplier) be better management and TJ corporate.

Waited 20+ minutes in the drive through line only to have the person at the checkout say they didn’t even know our order.
