It’s been about two months since I’ve been here with my family due to consistency issues with our orders previously.
Today our order took a little longer than usual but everything tasted great and the staff was very friendly! We were very happy to see some new faces and have great service. Great job management team on finding some competent staff and for offering the service we want! DD is back in Knightdale! I’ll be sure to share the good news.

Fantastic service!! KayKay is the best!!! She helped in the drive thru when my toddler was having a meltdown! The smile and customer service she and the team provided was top notch!! And my coffee was made perfect & munchkins were delish!!

I ordered a small berry sangria refresher with sparkling water and an order of the snacking bacon. My refresher was fine. The snacking bacon was completely cold as if it had been sitting out. The woman in the drive thru said they make a batch every morning. When asked if I could get it heated up or different bacon, I was told that was not an option as they batch cook everything in the morning. I asked for a refund for the bacon. I work at a Dunkin. I know how food that was previously cooked and placed in a warmer can still be warm. The bacon I received was cold as if it had been sitting out. I try not to write negative reviews, but serving cold food to customers is unacceptable.

You go to get yourself breakfast and get cussed out in the line because the drive thru person didn’t give you clear instructions. Real great start to the day being honked at because the drive thru person asked the other cars behind you to honk at you. And for the people who decided that me being in front of them waiting for my food too was too much for them and their day how about you go inside and get your food instead of going through drive thru. They also never have my drink in stock which is insane considering how popular the drink is

Management here has GOT to get it together! Only two employees were scheduled for a swamped time of day. There were multiple cars in the drive through and a full lobby. This understaffing is a detriment to both the customers and the poor employees who were very kind despite all the mess. The employees were also being harassed by other customers. I’m really quite shocked by what seems to be negligence in the scheduling by management and will be calling corporate about it. It was truly upsetting to watch the employees do their best to provide exceptional service while being disrespected by both rude customers and management. Thank you specifically to the employee with the puff and black glasses; she was working exceptionally hard.

Didn’t receive our drinks when we got our food, didn’t receive all our food until we had to go up and ask. Waited a good ten minutes for our drinks and when we still didn’t get it went up to the counter again. Asked for where the drinks were and one of the workers up front said “this is what happens when you order complicated shit when we’re busy” to her coworker loudly and within earshot. Drinks were a refresher and an iced vanilla latte.

I ordered an iced coffee, muffin, and hashbrowns. The hashbrown rounds came 6 in a serving. They were mushy, cold and overwhelmingly oniony. I used to be obsessed with Dunkin’s muffins, the past 2 I bought were hard and extremely dry. The iced coffee I got was great.

Worse Location In the Triangle
First off the staff here is ALWAYS rude. But last night was the final straw for me. On Tuesday, October 14th myself and 5 other patrons were at this location waiting outside the locked door after attempting to order at the drive thru at 6:40pm wanting to place orders. As patrons continued to come up from the drive thru and to the door also wanting service we all waited discussing the fact that these employees are always rude and that they seemingly REGULARLY close early. When the cashier finally came to the door I asked her why we couldn’t come in and she said “we are closed” when I asked why, seeing as how it wasn’t 7pm yet; her response was “We have the clean up”. Shocked by the answer I asked if that’s not what you do AFTER closing? She asked if I wanted to talk to the manager to which I replied “yes”. At this point I waited another couple of minutes before the manager finally came (still not 7pm yet). I asked the manager on duty why they were closed and she became loud and belligerent with me so I asked her for the number to contact corporate office to avoid further confrontation. I was told to “Google it” very rudely as she closed the window and walked away. I will not be going to this location again and I encourage others to stop using this location as well. This seems to be the only way to get better service… hit these places in the pocket. ALL of the people in staff that night need to be fired because this is NOT how you treat customers.

Dunkin Knightdale is a textbook example of a location that should not be operating. The customer service is consistently hostile, and today’s interaction made that impossible to ignore. The employee at the designated pickup area on duty wasn’t just rude — she was openly disrespectful, and had no sense of basic professionalism. I’d highly recommend closing this place. At the very least, don’t go ever.
