The view, service, and second floor dining restaurant is very nice. The food leaves room to be desired. Reservations wasn’t the friendliest of phone calls either. The food is really just okay, prices are higher than what you would expect. I probably had one of the better dishes at the table, the ribeye panini. But even then, the bottom bun was soggy and disintegrating on first bite (perhaps due to our party being so large). The pork chop wasn’t juicy and the grouper sandwich was just okay, not much flavor to it. Burger was cooked to specification. Coconut shrimp was okay, probably not worth the price here. Overall the food wasn’t as seasoned/had enough flavor for our taste. But…
CHOCOLATE CAKE WAS TO DIE FOR. If anything, come here for the chocolate cake. Even the people who don’t like chocolate cake, enjoyed it. The slice of cake was also a nice birthday surprise from the restaurant.

We had a fantastic experience at Marina Jack main dining room! Our server Diego was a huge part of what made our experience so great. He was one of the kindest and warmest servers we’ve ever had. He even treated us to a free dessert at the end of our meal for our anniversary. The food was exceptional, as well as the view. Even though we were not seated directly next to a window we had a great view of the sunset over the water. We would highly recommend this restaurant for your special occasions.

We enjoyed the Reuben, Thai chicken sandwich, seafood roll, calamari (not pictured) and the seafood chowder, all of which were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Even the sweet raspberry tea was a standout. Their knowledge of the menu, attention to detail, and seamless teamwork made the entire dining experience effortless and enjoyable.

Date night at Marina Jack’s was a definite win. We started with drinks at the Deep Six Piano Bar and enjoyed the live piano music, then headed upstairs to the Dining Room for dinner with an incredible view of the sun setting over the water.
The service was excellent. I appreciated the recommendations and just the right level of attentiveness. The menu covered all the bases without being overwhelming and the food itself was delicious (the charcuterie board, grouper Oscar, crispy snapper, and crème brûlée were all outstanding). The drinks were fantastic as well with a wide variety of cocktails and wines on the menu. I can say with certainty we’ll be back!

I recently visited Marina Jack and overall the location and atmosphere were very nice. The view and setting are beautiful, which is why this experience was disappointing.
When we received our bill, the prices did not match what was listed on the menu. For example, the Steak was listed at $39 on the menu, but on the receipt it appeared as $55 even before gratuity was added. This made the total bill feel much higher than expected and created confusion for our group.
Later we noticed that a 20% gratuity had been automatically added, but this was not clearly communicated to us beforehand. Since we mentioned that we were not local, the situation unfortunately made us feel uncomfortable and unsure about the pricing.
I also tried calling the restaurant multiple times afterward (around 10 attempts) to clarify this situation, but no one answered the phone.
I believe this may simply be a misunderstanding and I would appreciate the opportunity to clarify it.
I would appreciate if management could contact me through Google to resolve this.
I would be happy to update this review once the situation is addressed.

Waitress Cristina A was super accommodating!
It was a beautiful scenic view !!
The food was delicious we had the pasta dishes and she added on shrimp to mine and she made us decaf coffees since I’m pregnant and had turtle cheesecake, we enjoyed it very much! We definitely will be back 🙂

Marina Jack is all about the location—the views are absolutely beautiful and being right on the water makes it a great place to relax and take in the scenery ⚓️. It’s a fantastic spot to grab a drink, enjoy the breeze, and soak up the waterfront atmosphere.
That said, the food and service are just okay. They’re fine, but not the reason to come here. This is definitely a place you visit for the view and ambiance, not for a standout meal.
If you’re looking for a scenic waterfront experience, Marina Jack delivers. Just set your expectations accordingly
