First time at Symphony Sushi. I live in Dorchester, so it was quite the drive, however I heard some raving reviews of the place. Parking is limited, as I went for lunch on a Monday it was Meter Parking only I was lucky enough to find a meter right in front of the restaurant. The decor is unique and the music is quiet and enjoyable. We were greeted and sat at a half table half booth. The restaurant was not busy at all as we were only one of three tables. Our server bought over some waters with no greeting at all. After a while of browsing through the menu and researching our questions on it alone we had to grab her attention to place drink orders. We ordered Sake, spicy edamame, tuna tempura maki rolls, seaweed salad, and seafood miso soup. After a while our sever did come over to ask if everything was okay, we said yes and ordered the Redsox maki rolls which has to be the best maki I have ever eaten. Just when we were ordering the sushi chefs all sat down for lunch as did the person who greeted us and even our own server was eating just a few tables away from us. Our RedSox rolls were so delayed we were about ready to go once it arrived since one chef finally got up to make it. There was a sign that says you get a mystery gift for giving a review when I asked on the way out the greeter just handed me a bucket and told me to pick a packet. It was a cute little cat , I’ve posted pictures for you to see. All in all the food here is marvelous but the service leaves a bad taste in the end.

Had a great experience at Symphony Sushi! The lobster fried rice and Geisha maki were really delicious—definitely must-tries. Prices are super reasonable for the quality, and the service was fast and friendly. It’s also really close to Northeastern, which makes it super convenient. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

This place is a tremendous value. The quality of the sushi and all of the different noodle dishes as well as other entrees is absolutely outstanding at such a reasonable price. We have been here a number of times and we always go after we see the chamber musicians play at Jordan Hall. Never fails. Always a great encore.

Went in and ordered Alaskan roll sushi and requested spicy Mayo and tempura flakes on top… they didn’t give me either AFTER CHARGING ME EXTRA and the sushi wasn’t all that good… very disappointed.

It was my first time at this sushi restaurant and had a wonderful time. So kind and welcoming when I first walked in and in addition to this very accommodating with the menu.
Food was absolutely delicious, as I had the seafood miso soup and a sushi boat that I shared with family.
This will not be my first or last visit at this location as prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that we got; especially with it being seafood. Highly recommend this location for everyone to come on in and try this place.

I had a wonderful experience at symphony sushi. I ordered the spicy tuna tempura roll, snow mountain maki, and spicy garlic udon. The spicy tuna tempura was exactly what I imagined; it had a sweet sauce with snow crab crumbs on top. The snow mountain maki was interesting as it didn’t have rice, but the ratio of salmon, tuna, and avocado was perfect. The spicy garlic udon was not too spicy and had a good balance of veggies and meats. Overall great food and would come again

Love this neighborhood Japanese spot – have been many times since being at northeastern. The food is always great and super consistent and the waitstaff are always very friendly and accommodating. This time I got Niku ramen which had a great broth flavor and the portion was very generous – I was able to take the rest of it home and have another meal. Also had the gyoza which is crispy and delicious; my girlfriend got the katsu which she enjoyed a lot. Also, they have a bunch of ramune soda flavors – super fun! Highly recommend this spot.

I loved this place! I have been coming here since my freshman year of college and am about to graduate! The food is delicious, the portions are great, and the staff is always friendly. Today I tried the katsu curry and it was delicious. The curry was so flavorful and the chicken was crispy. My boyfriend got the niku ramen and really enjoyed it.

Perfectly named — when we came, indeed we wanted to get dinner before heading to the symphony at Boston Symphony Hall down the street, and it seemed so was everybody else there. The food was fine, and they knew how to get the food out and get you your check quickly so that you could be on our way to the concert. Kudos.
