Picked up takeout, and let me say—the flavors were strong with this one! Every dish came out hot, fresh, and packed with taste.
✨ Highlights from the Spread
Appetizers: Crispy egg rolls, golden crab rangoons, and shrimp tempura fried to perfection—crunchy armor outside, savory treasure inside.
Mains: Shrimp lo mein with springy noodles and plenty of shrimp, General Tso’s chicken with just the right balance of sweet heat, and barbecue pork that was tender and flavorful.
Sides: Fried rice was a perfect companion—light, tasty, and full of texture.
Overall Experience
From first bite to last, everything was delicious. Portions were generous enough to feed a hungry squadron, and the variety made it easy to please every taste at the table.
If you’re looking for takeout that delivers both flavor and satisfaction, this place is a stellar choice. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I stopped in for lunch and was very pleased with the experience. The restaurant was clean, and the service was attentive. I chose a selection of mostly vegetarian dishes, all of which were excellent—fresh, well-prepared, and flavorful without being heavy or greasy. Everything tasted light and wholesome, which is not always easy to find with fried tofu or stir-fry dishes. Overall, a great choice for a relaxing and satisfying lunch. I’ll definitely be back!

Continues to be our favorite Chinese restaurant. Every dish we have tried has been excellent. The items that are the best of any I’ve ever are the hot & sour soup, the Szechuan dumplings, ginger chicken with string beans. The complimentary fried rice noodles with sweet and sour are also better that other places I’ve been.
Wonderful atmosphere with white tablecloths and attentive service

It’s been a little while since eating here and it was great to return! Luncheon specials are a great deal here… Best hot and sour soup I’ve ever tasted and I HIGHLY recommend it. Of course, you must enjoy the chips with duck sauce as you wait for your meal. My sweet and sour chicken was a tasty choice with the right amount of crunch and flavor to mix with my white rice. Thanks for the food and can’t wait to come back again!

Good quality food at The Lilac Blossom but not 100% to my liking. First course wonton soup. Although the taste of the wonton soup is very good and the wontons taste excellent the soup has a lack of med ingredients. When I go for wonton soup, I like to see some peapods, shredded pork, bok choy, and possibly a few other veggies in the soup. This soup only comes with Wontons and a few pieces of scallion floating in it. The pork fried rice was very good and had apple amounts of barbecued pork. We also ordered chicken with vegetables. I found this to be a little bit on the bland side and to my taste, I would add a little bit of fish sauce. Additionally we ordered sliced ginger, pork with vegetables. All tasted very, very good, but I want to add the ginger pork was not spicy as shown in the menu. Don’t be afraid to order this dish as it will not be too spicy. Overall, the dining experience was very good, the food quality was good, the only negative was the fact that the food was a little bit on the bland side and the wonton soup was missing vegetables. Service was good and ambiance was nothing special.

I ordered dine-in from Lilac Blossom. The food was fine, but the waiter we had was below average. He barely checked in at all, basically just dropped the food off and left. I decided to give him a $20 tip on our $170 bill because of this. He had the audacity to question my tip and say “you’re not going to give me 20%?” Trying to bully someone into a bigger tip seems pretty low and very unprofessional. Him even confronting me about it just proves that the tip matched the service. My party and I were absolutely appalled. For his mediocre service, I felt $20 was plenty. If you want good service, take your business elsewhere!

OK So about a month ago I ordered chicken amazing. I have ordered this many many times in and to go a well. Got it home it was so hot and spicy I Couldn’t eat it. there were so many hot pepper flakes in it I thought the chef might have spilled a jar in it! I called and was told to return it??? At that point I had already thrown it out I had 2 bites. So I thought I would try it again tonight and this time I asked for it to be less spicy. I just opened up my it and could tell already it was going to be to spicy as the red pepper flakes were so heavy you could see it. So I tried it and OMG. worse than last time! I call and get the same person I talked to last time months ago. She told me I had to bring it back for a refund. Are you kidding me?? She (the owner I believe ) told me I would have to ask for NO spice but less spice and then hung up on me!! Unreal!!! never ever again! So rude. It was so spicy my lips are numb!!

Out of all the Chinese food places I have tried in New Hampshire this one is one of the best. The boneless pork strips are out of this world. Really enjoy all of the food that I have ever had from them
