Lovely local place, felt right at home. Definitely old school diner vibes which I prefer to all the hipster brunch spots! Food was tasty, strange gritty waffle batter, maybe avoid the waffle. But everything else was great!

Nancy’s cafe is an old, slightly run-down traditional cafe with the charm of incredible American breakfast food done right at a fraction of the cost. My steak and eggs came out perfectly cooked medium rare, with hash browns and biscuits and gravy for $12.99, which would be practically unheard of in Denver. Service was excellent, the menu is extensive and will have something for everyone, and portions are plentiful. Do NOT miss out on the Coconut French toast! I have never had better French toast anywhere else.

Oh, man. We knew the food would be good because of how packed the place was, and we were not disappointed. I got the chicken fried steak skillet and thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife got the coconut French toast, and it’s high on the list of all-time best French toast. The slices were thick. The edges were nicely crispy, and the inside was soft & moist. They served it with a sweet sauce, kind of like condensed milk with a little vanilla in it. My food was very good, but the French toast was good enough to make me regret ordering anything else.

I got to bring my cousin from out of town. This time I got the coconut French toast myself so I didn’t have to feel guilty stealing my wife’s, and it’s just as good as I remembered.

This was our first visit and we loved it! The delicious food all seemed to be home made from scratch and the service was top notch (including the veg beef soup that had HUGE chunks of steak), catering to our every need and checking on us just as much as we could hope for. It seems to be a favorite of the locals as most tables were full but that didn’t stop them from taking great care of us and bringing out our food super fast!
