I had an amazing experience at 15 Point Rd.! I tried the Chicken Madeira, and it was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Our server at the bar was fantastic, sweet, funny, and also the owner, which made the visit even more special. The atmosphere was welcoming and lively, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this spot!

I haven’t been here in 10 years as I no longer lived in Rhode Island. We went for Newport restaurant week. I had 3 courses for $45 and the brie was amazing, I had a half stuffed lobster which was delicious, and the keylime pie was so unique. Beautiful location!

Would have given the food a 5 and the place a 5, but the sweet potato was not cooked well (very hard), and would have given the place at least a 4 or 5, but the table had a greasy sticky film in front of my seat’s dining area. Kind of turned my wife and I off a bit. Server was very nice and bus boy Gabe was amazing

We dined here last night and overall, the experience was decent. The fried calamari was crispy and flavorful, but unfortunately, the pasta didn’t quite meet expectations. It was a bit too spicy, and the chicken was on the dry side definitely not worth $29 per plate. Our server was attentive and checked on us a one time, but didn’t ask if we’d like refills for our drinks. In total, with tip, we spent around $120 for fried calamari, two pastas, a Coke, and a glass of wine.

My cousin & I treated ourselves to a special Newport Restaurant Week dinner at 15 Point Restaurant last night. For $45 each, we got a delicious 3-course dinner. Our reservation was early enough that we were able to enjoy the gorgeous water views for a little while before the sun set completely. Both the food and service were superb.
We each ordered a glass of wine (Relax Riesling for me). We were first served warm, crusty bread and olive oil with roasted garlic cloves. Our appetizers arrived shortly thereafter; we had both ordered the phyllo wrapped baked Brie served with crostini and a dollop of jam. So good and such a large portion that we each brought half home.
Again, we each ordered the same for our entrees: a baked half lobster with seafood stuffing, served with a baked sweet potato and asparagus. Despite the amount of food it was so delectable we finished all of it.
Dessert was where we differed. My cousin had the Key Lime pie; I had the Beignets, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They weren’t true Beignets, more like small cinnamon sugar donuts, but absolutely yummy.
Needless to say, we left the restaurant totally sated. We’re looking forward to returning in the summer so we can enjoy a meal on their patio overlooking the water.
Highly recommended!

Excellent service, seating time was on time. Parking was somewhat difficult to find.
Our server Liz was attentive and was pleasant.
Menu was clear and concise.
Filet mignon had a bit of char but cooked properly, the steak Diana was amazing and tender.
Calamari app was crispy and fresh, batter wasn’t heavy.

We visited 15 Point Road to celebrate our friend’s anniversary, and my only regret is that we hadn’t been here sooner. With gorgeous views, friendly staff, and delicious food you can bet we’ll be back! The restaurant is on the small side, so I’d recommend reservations. Also be aware the bar has reserved seating (or at least did on the Saturday night we went).

Reservation is recommended. Came here for Memorial Day weekend. Parking was limited but we had no problem parking by the side of the road. Staff is friendly and the food is delicious. A great place to eat with nice waterfront view on the way to Newport.

We found this place on Google with great reviews and thought we’d give it a try. It’s a really small place, kind of pricey, and the food isn’t great. I got a “New Fashioned”, which I thought was ok. For apps, we got the clam chowder, lobster bisque, and brie. The chowder was a bit potato heavy, bisque was good, brie was really good. I got steak tips, which were fine. We only got a small, unexciting choice of sides (potatoes, broccoli, etc.). My wife got a filet and said it was “Applebees quality” and her sweet potato came out just as a sweet potato… no butter, brown sugar, marshmallows, etc. like you might see at any other restaurant. We followed the meal up with crème brûlée and beignets, both were good. For the price and expectation based on other reviews, I wouldn’t recommend this place – there’s a long list of better restaurants within a 15-20 min drive.
