Stopped here during a road trip. Loved it! Was super cute and silly. The decor was everything. The food was great. Would go again if I were in the area! Perfect for a meal that feels refreshing.

Laughing Planet is a cool, funky, place with super vegan options. They have solid vegan options and the staff is helpful.

The place is totally awesome with a PERFECT outdoor patio! Inside is open and has sweet decor. It was really good for family dinner with space for kids and even a book bin!

Staff was helpful but had some difficulties with a vegan order (double-stacking the broccoli when our kids only like broccoli) but we all worked through it and got some good vegan food!

Food was good, solid vegan options. The Tempe and the tofu were pretty bland though… the adults in my group got the Banh Mi bowl and the Tempe burrito . Both were good… but they were both bland… additionally some garlic and salt please, or even some Chipotle/pepper seasoning, it is a burrito afterall… what made the burrito much better was adding the salsa from the chips and salsa. If you like a little pep in your step, adding the salsa is a must!!! The other hot sauces were just lacking body and distinct flavor.

Overall, I would say 7/10. I think it could easily be a 8-9 with a better flavor profile on the vegan options.

I will come back if I am in town, thanks for a great dinner for my family.

Decided to eat at this restaurant on a Saturday evening and it did not disappoint .
The staff were all friendly and welcoming
The menu was very accommodating and catered for everyone’s needs ( as far as I could see)
I had a chicken quesadilla and my husband had the Thai bowl (tofu)
Both were large and delicious .
The guacamole was fresh and plentiful too along with great chips to dip into it .
I would give this place 10/10 for sure .
Give it a try – you will be pleasantly surprised as we were

In Bend for one day and decided to try out Laughing Planet because I saw a review saying it would not dissappoint and sure did not dissappoint! I got a green smoothie their korean bbq bowl with beef and quinoa and it is delicious!! The sauce is tasty and the beef is juicy and tender! You need to try this place! 5 star on the first bite!

The food at Laughing Planet is good, and this is true across all the locations I’ve been too (i.e. both Bend and Portland).

However, the burritos completely fall apart. I’m pretty sure this is avoidable because I’ve had many burritos in my life that don’t fall apart.

So basically, if you go here, just get a bowl or a salad, because that’s what your burrito will turn into as soon as you pick it up.

BRING BACK THE ELMER FUDD (WITH THE SAUCE ) No idea why they ever took it off the menu so many years ago. The best sense nutrient packed, filling, vegan comfort food bowl on the planet; laughing or not. And… I’m not. Not without that menu item from idunno how many years ago. Burnt into my soul.

It’s been fairly empty the two times I’ve eaten here, we ate just after and just before the dinner rush. I ordered the Bollywood bowl, and had them remove the yams and spinach, and swap the sauce for the nutritional yeast sauce. I loved it so much. I also ordered the queso dip, it’s delicious, almost spicy, but I’m very sensitive to spice. They give you a bowl of chips with it, and I think you can request more.

They ask that you bus your own tables and keep the To go boxes near the place you put used dishes. They have a decent selection of foods and their menus are well organized.
You can order the burritos without a foil wrap if you want to be more eco friendly.

Not a place to get burritos. I’ve had the bowls before and they’re decent but I got a burrito to go today and I’m very disappointed. I did a build your own. They forgot the cheese, I had 3 small pieces of chicken in it. It was so full of black beans for most of it that I thought those and pico was all they remembered. The sour cream was plopped just in the middle and the burrito was coming unwrapped before I even bit into it. The tortilla was split in the middle so I had sour cream coming out the side. Two bites in; I finally gave up and put it in a bowl. (which is what I should have just gotten to begin with) At this point I had only one bite with chicken in it and when I looked in my bowl there was only two more pieces…. If I could leave work and take it back I would have.

Always delicious food. It’s really nice to have a great place with healthy options in town, especially quick food! The employees are never very friendly and I always kind of feel like I’m a bother walking in the door. I bet it’s been a stressful time to work this last year. But I still come for the food. Maybe you’ll have better luck with customer service than I’ve had, and other than that, the food is great pictured is the crunchero quesadilla…yum!
