Great Restaurant on Beautiful Bass Lake.
Today Sunday we ordered a take out chicken, potato wedges and cal slaw for the family and it was scrumptious. We dined at Harbor House quite a few times, their prime rib, steaks, barbecue ribs and salmon dinners were always fresh and delicious. The baked potatoes were fresh and great salads.
Definitely will be back we were never disappointed with dining at Harbor House!

Sunday Aug 13 2023 at 4 pm 6 of us drove 1hr to get to Harbour House. We have been there many time before. When we got are bill we were over charged $17.00. The Waitress said no manager was there and the price was in the computer wrong from what the menu said and all she could do is give us a credit of 17 dollars for next visit. That is one way to get people to come back. We declined gave are tip and left. My Son-in-law got sick on the greasy Philly Steak Sandwich. Was charged 2.99 for fries that came with 3 of the meals and over charged $4 on each Philly steak sandwich meal 2 of them. I wish Harbour House the Best it could be a nice place again.

I’ve been twice now to the establishment, each time ordering something massive just to say I did and to experience it for myself. I have to say the quality of food is pretty good for the absolute size of this prime rib, it’s hard to get it cooked correctly but they managed to do just that. I’m not gonna sugar coat anything though, there are some aspects that need improvement but that’s everywhere there’s nothing perfect. All in all if you are looking for a nice higher end dinner for you and the wife, or a nice first date to impress, this will do just that but expect to pay a premium price for the better cuts of meat. There is a more casual menu if you aren’t looking to eat steak and lobster. It’s a good eat and is worth checking out!

Waited for an hour, then told they couldn’t make our steak or ribs we ordered. Never brought out our drinks we ordered, and there was no one even in the bar. We left without a single drink or food. Owners running this place need a new career…. Update to your response, Yes, you’re right. We are experienced owners in the food industry. And we did talk to your staff about the fire in the kicken with the rookie cook. Does not explain the lack of drinks from the bar. Nor you terrible establishment. But attacking our character for your bad business says a lot about you, too. We will never be back.

Stopped off for dinner on a motorcycle ride. I had one of the best prime rib sandwiches I ever had. My wife had the clam chowder and it was excellent.
The best part was that we actually received prompt courteous service unlike most places these days!
Can’t wait to ride there again soon.

Had to wait for the server for a bit, but when they finally came by without having to flag one down…it wasn’t too bad service. We ordered the calamari and that came to us kinda rubbery and then we got our salads and most of the lettuce was wilted and kinda looked old. I got my steak and even that was undercooked. Well….it might be a little while before we come back here again, especially for the price….not really worth it

1 star because I can’t leave 0 stars. Evening out planned with friends ended in a night that totally sucked. Seated right away after arriving for our reservation. There weren’t that many people there so we thought the service would be fast, boy we couldn’t have been more wrong. After over an hour, we were finally able to order our appetizers, which were mediocre at best. The entrée came only an hour after that and yet the check only took yet another hour. All in all, 3 hours for terrible service and food you would expect to cost 1/4th of what it did. I spent nearly $150 for two people and will NEVER step foot in this unprofessionally ran so called restaurant ever again. I recommend the Heston in LaPorte, great food at a great price, great service and great friendly staff ALWAYS. Definitely recommend a hard pass on this second rate place that is masquerading as a classy restaurant. Experience with a man who never identified himself as the owner or manager was totally disturbing. BUYER BEWARE of this hole.

A group of 8 of us were there for 3.5 hours on a Friday night. They were busy and the band playing was great. However, the food was horrible. I’m pretty sure the only good thing we had was the sweet potato fries. The chicken was extremely dry, half the food came out 20 min before the other half, the ribs were cold, the cheesesteak bland, the wagyu burger tasted like a bar burger. It was not worth the prices we paid! Hate to give a local restaurant a bad review but they need to up their game if they want to please people.

I really hate to give any business in these times a 1 star review, but sadly they deserve 0 stars. They had lots of wait staff, but unfortunately waited an hour and a half for our food. This was inspite of the fact that there were only 6 tables of customers in the building. The table next to us left without their food after an hour and 15 minutes. In that time we saw our waitress twice. Someone from our table went to the bar 3 times for our table. When the food arrived, the chicken was too dry and spicy to eat. The prime rib was dried out and really not very good. Sadly it cost$40 and I’ve been to bars recently and had$20 prime rib that was much better! I really think you could go to any restaurant and have better food.

Overall very good but menu not up to date. Placed order, server took it, went to kitchen, came back without menus to tell us my item is no longer available. Fortunately I had a backup item ready but if I hadn’t she would have had to go get me another menu. Would have been a pain. My replacement was Ribeye sandwich. Cooked a little more than I ordered (medium) but the grill taste was terrific.
Love the view of the water. Didn’t know there was a waterfront restaurant on Bass Lake, so we were glad to find it. Had a good meal at reasonble prices. Overall, ver good. Highly recommended.
