We worked with EaTo for full service catering for our wedding, and were blown away by the service, food and thoughtfulness from day one! We met with Matt and Helena early on to talk about options and try some of their dishes, and immediately got good vibes from them. And then once we tried that Bolognese – it was a no brainer. They had to be our caterers.

They were warm, helpful and so responsive throughout the planning process. Even helping source linens in just the right color I wanted! Our guests raved about the food and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice.

Thanks to the EaTo team for helping make our wedding so wonderful!! Highly recommend them for your catering needs!

Eato in downtown Minneapolis is a great spot for a quick and pleasant meal. The staff was kind, courteous, and made the experience feel welcoming from the moment I walked in. The place itself is neat, clean, and well‑maintained, which adds to the overall comfort. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the menu could use a few more options, especially for people who like a bit more variety. Still, the quality, service, and atmosphere make it a solid choice, and I’d definitely stop by again.

highly recommend the pesto pasta and the fried brie. i’d skip the grilled chicken in the future, the char on the chicken tasted a bit foul for my liking. however, great atmosphere and service was fantastic. i’ll certainly be back.

We had a great experience for dinner. Ordered cheese puffs on a recommendation from a friend and they were the star – super tasty. The fig and prosciutto salad was good, loved having pomegranates instead of the usual dried cranberries. And the salmon was fabulous! Cooked perfectly and the veggies were perfectly tender crisp. Very happy to have a low carb option. Attentive service and cocktails crafted with care. Loved it all!

Solid run of the mill Italian restaurant, great prices being right in the heart of downtown. Pasta is definitely fresh and cooked to the perfect al dente.

I came in for some lunch while waiting for my passport to be processed across the street. I was super happy to find an assortment of gluten free options and tasty beverages on the menu. The service here is absolutely perfect. Jesse is attentive and funny, and even listened to me complain about my day. I had some time to kill, and the staff accommodated me 100% If I lived here, this would be a staple in my restaurant rotation.

I went to Eato during Restaurant Week lunch ($18 for 3 courses), and it was such a great experience. Parking was a little difficult with limited street parking, but I found out afterward that the Gateway Ramp nearby offers cheaper parking with a voucher — good to know for next time!

The hostess was so thoughtful — she noticed I had my iPad and seated me in a quiet area so I could work peacefully, which I really appreciated.

Food-wise, everything was on point. The red pepper bruschetta (just two pieces) was crunchy, chewy, and packed with flavor. The vodka pasta was rich and satisfying, and the cannoli was a light, sweet finish. Each portion was well-balanced — I left feeling full but not heavy.

Great solo lunch spot with cozy vibes and excellent service. I’d definitely come back!

The non alcoholic drink selection is fantastic, and I love that there is a seasonal menu. I try to avoid dairy and my server helped me figure out what could be made with a reduced amount of dairy. Super service and attention from her and the manager who brought us our food and came to check on us a few times.

Always a nice atmosphere and customer service at EaTo. Costs a normal dinner price tag but man is it good consistently. Had the salmon and it was crispy and flaky. Crispy potatoes with aioli is great. And bruschetta is always good. Bottle shop no corking fee plus 10% off the bottle when drinking it for dinner.

Thank you Olivia for the personable suggestions. A little empty on a Saturday night but can tell that its the vibes. Vodka pasta unassuming but good flavors.
