Found a maggot in my lo mein noodles. Don’t know how many I ate considering I was on the last 3 bites of the meal. Sesame chicken was so hard and gross. Tasted like it was reheated a few times before served to me. I could have thrown it on the ground and it would have made a noise it was so hard. Don’t even bother coming here.

Only time the rice was better than the entree, and it was just regular fried rice, the chicken tasted wattered down like it was boiled or something. Customer service was below average but not terrible. It was cheap but still a waste of money.

NOT GOOD!! Orange chicken was cold, no flavor, tough. Egg rolls were tough, no flavor. General Tso chicken took too long to come out but at least was hot! They should have forewarned me of the time involved. Noodles cold & greasy.
Service was ok but she told us orange chicken & General Tso’s chicken was about the same thing?? That should have been a sign not to eat there! Normally General Tso is usually some spice-not this one. Very bland.

China Max is my favorite Chinese restaurants of all time. Not only is the food the best, it is super cheap, and they give you a lot. Everyone is so kind and leave you feeling very happy and satisfied! 10/10 recommend going here!

I’ve tried chinese food several places in Davenport and this spot had the best tasting and hottest freshest food (food wasnt like 3 day old jerky chicken) I love Chinese and if u want ur Chinese food to taste right and not be old and jerkyfied this is where I’d go if I were u.
