First time coming in and we loved it. The owner was so attentive even when it was packed. She made sure everyone in that room had the best experience possible. She walked me through which plants thrive in which conditions, to make sure my terrarium was healthy and long lasting. There’s a lot of drink options, alcoholic and nonalcoholic. The atmosphere was relaxing, and everyone was considerate of each other. I recommend a reservation at least on the weekends! You can tell the owner is passionate about her work. I love that we have a place like this in the valley.

Wood and root bar has such a great calm and inviting vibe. It’s a fun experience! The owner is super knowledgeable and walks you through things step by step. There are projects of varying prices. If you plan on doing a terrarium they do range in price as well. You can easily go for the top make a big beautiful terrarium or keep something more simple. Overall, remember, it’s an experience and not something you get to do every day. Enjoy!

I feel like our experience could have been much better. My friend booked everything and there were no prices online, and we arrived & discovered why. The terrariums are expensive, the plants are very overpriced–$10 to start for tiny ones–and then the environment wasn’t super positive. I wish I could say that it was a really amazing experience, and spending time with one’s friends is, but it didn’t feel very welcoming. I found out my friend had to pay a deposit just to reserve a table. We were immediately told to put our drinks away or have them put behind the bar (a closed non-alcoholic drink and a water bottle) because of the liquor license & its strictness (?). There were people having fun, & making cute stuff. The actual place is beautiful. The owner was good at explaining how to position the plants for the right water balance, but… It fell flat. $70 for a terrarium, drink, 2 plants? I would rather just go try it on my own.

Found this place and decided to take my friend out. The atmosphere was so magical, they have a great selection of plants and pots!
Owner of this shop was helping us out and she answered a lot of questions and made the experience very easy and effortless. Every time I had a doubt, she read my body language and come over and help! Which was really helpful since it was our first time
Drinks were really good and we had a great time talking and planting!
Wasn’t as pricey as i thought it would be
I got a big terrarium with 4 different flowers and couple trinkets end it was less then 100$
Overall I do suggest you to check out this place! 10/10

My daughter and I made an impromptu visit to this place back in November, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The two women working that day- one of whom I believe was the owner – were absolutely amazing. They guided us through every step of the process with enthusiasm, making us feel truly welcomed. Their passion for what they do was contagious, and it made the entire experience even more special.
While the prices are on the higher side, I completely understand why. The level of service they provide is exceptional, taking the time to explain not just the steps, but also the reasoning behind each one. They carefully source all their plants to ensure they thrive in a terrarium setting, categorizing them and helping you understand what works best.
I’ll be sharing photos from the day of our visit, as well as an update on my terrarium – it’s still thriving! I can confidently say I got my money’s worth. This is the perfect spot for a date night, girls’ night out, mother-daughter bonding, or any gathering with like-minded people. Plus, they serve wine and other spirits, adding to the fun atmosphere.

A friend and I stopped by tonight to have a drink and put together some fun plants. We hadn’t thought to make a reservation, and they were able to fit us in anyway, even though it was super busy! This place is amazing, everybody was so helpful and friendly! The vibe is amazing, beautiful plants everywhere, and yummy cocktails to sip on while you create. The owner and all of the staff made it such a fun night! They guide you through all the steps to make sure you’re happy with your plant. Will definitely be back, thank you for such an awesome experience and being so warm and welcoming!

Friendly and helpful staff, cool environment. I found the price description on the website confusing. It says “prices vary but begin around $35 per person.” I had read this to mean that I could get basic plant project for $35, but that is not the case-the cheaper projects are pressed flowers or paint kits. If you want a planter or terrarium you will be paying at least $75 for a planter project and likely more than $100 for terrarium. If I had known the pricing I would’ve skipped this place as it is really outside of my family’s budget. Hopefully there are enough people out there with higher “fun time” budgets than me who can support this shop because the staff was super knowledgeable and friendly-clearly green thumbs run in the family!

Wife and I came for a quick stop on our honeymoon. Long story short it took up the rest of our evening. We ended up potting more plants after the initial terrariums we built because we were enjoying ourselves THAT much. The owner (wish I could remember names better) was very involved where she needed to be (told my wife exactly what was was per friendly and HOW per friendly and WHY) and very hands off where it was deserved (we had three more adult beverages!) I’m without words. What an amazing experience. We will be bringing every person we know here to share this local adventure.
