At Honest Indian Vegetarian Restaurant, we bring the vibrant flavors of India’s street food to your neighborhood. Our journey began in 1975 as a family-run street cart in Ahmedabad, with a mission to serve fresh, high-quality vegetarian food made with passion and authenticity. Every dish is prepared daily from scratch using the freshest ingredients and our own unique spice blends imported from India. Each bite reflects the tradition and taste our customers have loved for decades. Welcome to Honest, where tradition meets flavor!

Only good things to say about Honest. The food was fantastic with so many options to pick from and all of it was great. We had the Katapa sandwich, dahi puri, Dabang Dosa, and Chinese Bhel and it was all so good! The vibes in there were also great! Perfect for a great bite.

Honest Indian Vegetarian Restaurant is hands down one of the best vegetarian Indian restaurants around.
Purely vegetarian options are already limited, and Honest truly stands out with its consistency, variety, and authentic taste. I’ve been here many times, but this was my first time trying their vegetarian thali, and it exceeded my expectations.
Every item in the thali was delicious, well-balanced, and reminded me of comforting home-style food. The flavors were authentic, not overly oily, and perfectly spiced. From the curries to the rice and sides, everything complemented each other beautifully.
If you’re looking for quality vegetarian Indian food with multiple options, Honest is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Honest Restaurant in Morrisville is a real treat for vegetarians. It’s refreshing to find a place that’s 100% vegetarian while still offering such a wide variety of options—everything from South Indian favorites like dosas, to North Indian dishes, chaat, sandwiches, and more. The menu is extremely vast, so there’s something for everyone.
The food arrives in a reasonable amount of time, but it does tend to come out staggered, so some people at the table may be eating while others are still waiting. That said, the food is fresh and quite good overall. We went on a weekend evening, and while it was packed (as it usually is), the crowd just reinforced that it’s a sought-after spot.
The restaurant is casual, family-friendly, and great for big groups. You place your order at the counter and wait for your food, and they provide plenty of takeout boxes for leftovers, which is very convenient.
Overall, we had a great experience here. With such a huge menu, we know we’ll need to go back again to try more of the options. There’s plenty of parking so that’s very convenient!

The atmosphere was nice, but the food lacked the expected taste. We tried Chole Bhature and Veg Manchurian, and both were underwhelming compared to our experience at the Charlotte outlet. Hoping to see some improvement in flavor to match the ambience.

Had a great experience at Honest with a group of 8. We ordered Dahi Puri, Pav Bhaji, Veg Hakka Noodles, Samosa Chaat, Gobi Manchurian, Chole Bhature, Katappa Bread Sandwich and everything tasted very good and the kids loved it. Service was excellent, and the staff even asked for feedback. Portions of Chole Bhature felt a bit smaller than before, but it was served quickly. Nice touch with the mouth freshener (mukhwas). Would definitely visit again with family!

Awesome food..
We ordered Bhel Puri, Idli, Vada Pav, Dabeli, Samosa chat with chole, Dabang Dosa and Kattappa Sandwich. All items were great, sandwich is too heavy for two people. Would love to come back and try chole Bature and Dahi puri and other Items.

This is nice Indian snacks restaurant. Food is ok, depends on what you are having. Like Dabeli is good (with coconut flavor, either you like it or not, personal preference). Chole Bhature not that good (oily and kind of average chole). Rose mastani drink was good. I will definitely go again to try other things on menu.

It was our first visit to Honest Indian Vegetarian, its a nice resturant. Placing the order is easy and the person behind the counter helped us about the questions we had. We ordered Fried Rice with Manchurian and Indian style pizza. The fried rice came within 10 min which were full of taste and fresh and for the pizza we had to wait 30 min after letting the server know she said the pizza was not in your order as soon we were heading toward the register to check the order, the manager a person from kitchen came in and wanted to confirm the order, the Manager apologized for the confusion and we did the to go the order after 15 min we got the pizza as soon I opened the pizza it was cold as rock, kids were so hungry and disappointed. Not sure if we do have another visit here or not.
