Food had no seasoning, fries was soft , chicken wasn’t extra crispy. Everything that I just said in my previous sentence is what I ordered. I ordered everything extra crispy, and instead I got everything extra soft. For my food to be almost $100 I felt like it was a waste. Me and my wife threw out all of our food. However the service was good. It was just that the food was very bland. Me and my wife will not be returning. It is not worth my money nor my time. If I could give a -1 star for food I would. Just being honest.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to take a picture of our food. I got the 8pc wing with macaroni & cheese. Chicken was crispy & seasoned well, macaroni was okay, missing something though. Tried the fish & shrimp, it was great, shrimp is a bit spicy, which I loved because spicy is my go to, just be mindful if you don’t like spicy. Will be returning.
Also Mr. Greg, the owner was so nice, made us feel welcomed soon as we walked in. Check out his beauty store right door for all your hair needs.

I have been driving by foro the . Today I stopped in , got 10 wings ,greens and mash potatoes. Everything was absolutely perfect . This place is the true meaning of a locally owned and operated business. Owner was polite , friendly and very accommodating. I will be back with my son for wing night . Thank you

My husband and I tried Soul Food Plus once and the owner Mr. Gregg, I believe was so nice and professional. We ate and I also bought some items from his hair boutique next door. We do not live in Charleston, we stay in the Myrtle Beach area but frequently come to Charleston to see our children and grandkids or for business purposes.
We was in the Charleston area today on business , and upon returning home, we decided to drop in to get something to eat, and I needed s one hair supplies.
I was going to buy my items from Amazon and another store, but my husband and I like to patronize our own whenever we have the opportunity to do so. We walked in and there was a short plump lady with short hair sitting at the front. She looked at us, no greeting, nothing. She proceeded to walk from the register to another table and because she didn’t acknowledge me or my husband, I told her I needed to ourchase some items out of the hair store next door, she turned around and gave me a nasty look and said “you are going to have to wait a few minutes and turned back around.
At that point, my husband said , let’s go, I agreed… Who want to walk in any establishment with the intent of spending over $150 to be treated that way.
I called back and asked to speak to Mr. Gregg, she a lady answered which I assume was the same lady we encountered minutes ago… she told me that he left for a family emergency and should return on Friday. I asked if she was one of the owners and she said no… my advice… hire people with better customer service etiquette.
