Cute hole in the wall spot!! I did enjoy the raw oysters more than the chargrilled but it just depends on the person! The roast beef sandwich was huge. Also ordered their snow crab legs which were appropriately priced.

The BBQ Shrimp with Jambalaya Grits was great. In fact the grits alone was the show stopper! The taste was incredible. Don’t get me wrong, the BBQ Shrimp was very good. The Spaghetti and meatballs were delicious. And large enough to share if you’re the sharing type. The Seafood Platter had a generous amount of well seasoned fried shrimp and oysters. Our server was friendly and nice. We will be back.

First time visiting but went there specifically for soft shell crab – and it was worth it. I called in advance, helpful over the phone, just as much in person. I was able to order and get it fast. Even on Valentines evening when place was packed.

This is my second time at Charles Seaford. The menu is quite extensive and lots of seafood options. You cannot go wrong with whatever you pick. We had the big Charles seafood, platter, gumbo, onion, rings, and hush puppies. Everything was delicious. The service was wonderful, and I definitely recommend everyone check out Charles Seafood.

Great local scene. As usual, great service! The best and freshest seafood I’ve had and I eat everywhere. The crawfish were the meatiest I’ve had. Loved the coleslaw and the jambalaya grits. The trout was perfectly delicious. The raw oysters and royal reds were perfect. Exactly what you would expect.

Outstanding food, outstanding service. Very nice and attentive to your needs. I’m in a wheelchair and I had zero issues! I used the Women’s room because it was a “straight shot” with the wheelchair it all worked out! The prices are more than reasonable as the portions are large and the quality of food is awesome!

My family went to celebrate my nephew’s birthday, but the restaurant was very crowded. We were told it would be a twenty minute wait. While we waited a party of four was seated. The hostess said it was because a square table could not accommodate five. We spent thirty minutes and watched several patrons depart. I’ve eaten at Charles Seafood many times. The food is okay, but it’s usually quaint eating there. Not today! The hostess with long dark hair needs an attitude adjustment. Never eating there again!

I had seen a review of Charles Seafoid and social media and they really enjoyed it so decided to check it out. We went for lunch and the restaurant looks nice from the inside and the service is decent, although it did take a while for us to get seated. once the order was placed, the food came out very quickly. we ordered the onion rings and charbroiled oysters to start and then the Charlie seafood platter plus shrimp poboy for the main; the platter came with salad and gumbo.
the portions are huge – the onions to the platter to the poboy were in big portion size. while the portions were big, flavor and seasoning was a bit lacking. the seafood in the platter were big pieces but the breading and the seasoning was lacking for our tastes.

I’ve been here several times and my Aunt and Uncle are regulars. This is a very nice down to earth establishment. Really good sandwiches and excellent seafood. Oysters are very usually really good. This is the kind of place you go to and don’t regret it later. Five Stars all day long.
