Delicious food and great service! Very large portions and they grind their own coffee beans! The pancakes are the size of the plate and the skillet could feed 3-4 people! Cash only and friendly service. We’ll be back!

This place is a little gem right off the Monroe Square. It is just down home good cooking. I go for the blueberry pancakes the size of a dinner plate. However, I haven’t tasted anything I didn’t like.
This is not a fancy joint, it is a pull up to the counter and have coffee and eggs. There is a good chance you will meet other folks for a fun chat or you can just eat and run.

Staff is friendly and efficient.

Stopped in for a bite to eat at 1:15pm (close at 2) and was told grill and fryers were off and they only had their special available. Was recommended by a frequent patron. I left and doubt I will end up trying this place.

This was recommended to us by three locals. One lady at a gas station, a lady at the venison meat factory and a guy down town. Amazing country cooking, lovely ladies serving the food. Cash only payments . Saturday AM, expect a 20-45 minute wait. There’s bar and communal table seating for quicker service ♥️

Delicious breakfast. We were visiting from out of town and love to try local restaurants instead of chains. The prices were reasonable, service was friendly, the atmosphere was inviting, and the place was hopping! We liked it so much, we made sure to go back a second time while staying there.

Went on a Sunday for breakfast. It was full and very busy. One of the girls offered us seats joining another group with a couple of extra chairs, so nice of her. A couple of seats at the counter opened up just then so we plopped ourselves down at the counter and proceeded to have great service great food, everything was very efficient and clean.

They have most anything you could think of for breakfast and mine was very good.
We saw huge cinnamon rolls speeding past us, and we were sitting right in front of the hot buckets filled with sausage gravy and cheese sauce being generously ladled on top of plates piled high with eggs hash brown sausage waffles ham whatever you want I guess!

Everyone had great attitudes, our food and our time spent there was all good. I would definitely go back anytime.

B&G Slammer dish was awesome. You wouldn’t know it at first, but there’s a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit hiding under that pile of sausage gravy! It all comes together in a big, delicious comfort food bomb. Hash browns were some of the best diner potatoes I’ve ever had. Super light and crispy on the outside but not overcooked and burnt like at most places.

We chose Amy’s Cafe based on the good reviews! Glad we tried it. There was a line at the door but we chose the sit at the counter in from of the grill, which the chef was amazing to watch! The food was amazing, very large portions and all fresh and home made including the jam! Highly recommend!

Smiling plate of protein! Accommodating my low carb needs with veggie of their choice for me to take home vs potatoes and toast.
