They have the best salsa ever!! So good. Clean and friendly staff. My husband and I shared the Thursday special of fajitas so it was very cost efficient. We would definitely go back again!

There are a lot of Mexican Restaurant options in this area and this is one you need to have on your list to visit. The staff is amazing; they work as a team to service the tables so nothing is missed. The food is excellent and they had something new to me that I’d never tried before that you should consider giving a try. It is a Sopes which is a Mexican street food. The base was a thick homemade corn shell to make a shallow cup (like a tostada but thicker), and then has a variety of toppings you can add to it. They also have two very good hot salsas that you can request; green is quite hot. On the weekends, they have a homemade tortilla station as well. This is not a deterrent for us but in case you are wanting a Margarita or other cocktail, this restaurant does not serve alcohol.

Got to say this probably one of my favorite Mexicans restaurants ever, have been here many time within the past 6 years and foods here never failed on me!
As it suggested by my Mexican friends the tacos here is authentic and amazing flavor, personally I love the Ai pastor the most!
But what really surprised me is the tilapia they fried in whole with the flavor of lemon pepper! Had this dish for my last meal, and I am surely impressed by this unique taste especially when you tried it with fresh corn tortillas, the fish skin was crunch and the meat was fried super tender.
And I have to say the people here in Mazatlan are also amazing as food they serve! I felt the passion and kindness every time I step into this place! Definitely gonna miss this place, both authentic food and amazing people! Highly suggested!

This was our first visit here, and I have to say the staff is super friendly everyone there is very nice and attentive. The owner itself talked to us for several minutes . Our waiter. Made sure we were taken care of well as far as drinks and food. The food itself is very tasty well seasoned my husband and I both enjoyed it very much and we will be back to try some other items of the menu I would highly recommend it.

This was a call in order. I told the person taking my order to leave off the salad. She said it doesn’t come with a salad. It only comes with rice. I said well the menu on the website it says it has lettuce, pico and sour cream. I do not want any of that. Then she says, so just one chicken chimichanga and rice? I said yes that is correct. Just the chimichanga and rice no lettuce. Again, she said it does not come with that. ♀️
Guess what? They not only added the salad, it was on top of the chimichanga. The water from the lettuce soaked into the food and made it soggy. Very disappointing.

Eric took our order over the phone, were new to the area and I had a specific request. The restaurant staff were more then accommodating and amazing. Very satisfied with them. The food was amazing and completely reminded me of back home. Completely authentic!

When you are looking for the definition of a family Mexican restaurant, this is it.
In the level of service (half of the staff stopped in to check on us and were all very friendly), the style of food, and the way the place feels, this was an amazingly positive experience.

If you’re ever in this neck of the woods, I strongly encourage you to come check out Mazatlan family restaurant. Both food and service were excellent, super-friendly staff here. The atmosphere is somewhat basic, but that wasn’t an issue for us at all.
I had the street tacos, and my wife had the chicken chimichanga. We finished off our meal with probably the best churros I’ve her had (and I’ve had them MANY times).
Highly recommend!!!

Me and my husband Jesse Sierra are from California and only been in NC for a few years , our little family has tried all places and on Halloween 2024 we finally found a good place . My mom would of loved this place rip. I wish I could give more stars every thing perfect and service was great and our server was absolutely awesome with humor and kindness . We will be back .
