Don’t be fooled by the outside. It looks like a small little place and when you walk in you see it’s pretty large. It has a very down home diner feel to it. The staff was very friendly and were quick to seat us.
I was very impressed with the service and the restaurant itself. I ordered the cake breakfast. 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns and 2 pancakes. Let me say the food was fantastic with a great price to match. I forgot to take a photo of the breakfast itself, but trust me…it was a good solid breakfast. I would easily recommend this place to others and would definitely come back again.
Quick friendly service and amazing food. Go support this place!
It looks like they have recently spruced up the interior since the last time I have visited and I appreciate it.
While they won’t win any awards on flavor they are a adequately servicable eatery. Their prices and value are their biggest draw for me. They also seem to know what they going for and do that well.
Last thing: Don’t expect alot of seasonings or salt.
It is very family friendly and prices reasonable. A great place to meet a friend to begin your day. They are tucked in a strip mall and could easily be missed so they need a bigger sign so others can experience a wonderful food addition to the area.
Be aware they are open only for breakfast and lunch (7am – 2pm).
Came here after a doctor’s appointment at around 11 on a Monday. There’s not a ton of parking and the location is a little nondescript. I walked into a dimly lit but spacious setup. It’s a little shopworn inside but seems clean enough. I was instructed to seat myself where I liked. The restaurant wasn’t super crowded but the acoustics are such that sound carries and it was a little loud.
I took a booth that wound up having a very uncomfy cushion, but I didn’t want to confuse the staff by moving so I dealt with it. A waiter came by soon to drop off a menu. They serve breakfast all day and have some plate lunches. A lot of reviewers complained about the lunch options seeming canned or just not as fresh, so I decided I’d do a late breakfast/breakfast for lunch to ensure I got fresh food.
They do a cake and eggs special that comes with scrambled eggs and pancakes. I got that with hash browns and bacon and a sweet tea to drink. The prices are reasonable here. My food came out to me quickly but not so quickly it didn’t seem fresh.
Overall, it was decent! My sweet tea wasn’t super flavorful but it was thirst quenching. I think the best things were probably the pancakes; they weren’t standout but just simple cakes cooked well and served hot. The scrambled eggs were fine too, though I wished for a little salsa or hot sauce to put on them. Hash browns were standard; a little under-crispy for me beneath the very crispy top, but I like them practically crunchy.
One thing that was VERY crunchy was the bacon. I like my bacon cooked pretty well, but this was beyond that; I don’t think I even finished it because it was just so crispy and hard. That was the low point.
Again, nothing was really bad but simultaneously nothing really stood out, and given how far away from me this restaurant is I doubt I’ll make a special trip. One thing that did stand out to me was a few dishes like chilaquiles and burritos on the menu. I noticed the wait staff were all speaking to each other in Spanish. I wonder if I missed out on the good stuff? Might be worth a try.
If you’re in the area, this’ll do for a fast and adequately prepared local breakfast.
The pancakes are good, the French toast is DELICIOUS. I usually add fresh strawberries to both, but they stand alone just fine.
Everyone should try it. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food.

Very friendly staff. The food is pretty good, you’ll need to add your own salt/pepper to grits and eggs, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. After ordering, our food arrived pretty quickly. It was hot and fresh.
We walked in and were seated right away around 8 a.m. both times we came. Once after Daylight Savings and the other was a Friday. So it’s not the best representation of how crowded it can get, as we’ve seen a line before.
I wasn’t too fond of the seating. There were no dividers between the booths. My head was about 5 inches away from the person behind me. Thankfully they left to pay shortly after we were seated. Aside from Covid, I don’t want to sit that close to a stranger while I’m eating.
We’ll likely be back, as long as it’s not crowded.
