This place is super down to earth with friendly staff and, most importantly, very good food! It definitely exemplifies a small town diner vibe. I came in here for breakfast one morning and was not disappointed at all. Biggest thing to keep in mind is they only accept cash or check for payment. Luckily there is an ATM outside the diner to the right.

Small diner-type restaurant in downtown area. They have an open kitchen so you can see your order being made. I arrived at 10:30 in the morning on Saturday and ordered the special with tea. Service was quick and friendly. The special was the country platter, which was ground beef, hash browns, and eggs along with toast. It was very good and filling but could have had a bit more seasoning. I put on a lot of ketchup and hot sauce. Tea was just Lipton, but it was also good; they give you a pitcher of hot water for refills. Affordably priced at around $15 for the meal and drink. I recommend going here for breakfast or brunch if you are in town.

Small town diner kinda place. Good food. Service was friendly but a little disorganized (not a big deal). Had to go down in the scary basement to find a restroom so not good for folks e mobility issues. But given the food was good and people friendly, I would return.

I visited this Cafe a month ago and loved the atmosphere! Made me feel like I was at my home county’s ma and pa restaurants. I only ordered coffee and a drink. So that is why I don’t leave a review for the food. However I got to have a small talk conversation with a local and they had pancakes that smelled devine and they were huge! As I was just in the area needing to kill time while my husband was at a training.
The staff were so nice, they knew the locals and usuals as well.

This is that kind of diner where the waitress calls you honey and sweetie and the and the regulars have been eating there for the last six presidential terms. This is America in a diner!

I visited The Grove for breakfast after several recommendations. I can say that I’m very impressed. I absolutely appreciate the old “Mom & Pop” vibe they have going on. The owner is the guy cooking your meal while he’s chatting with the regulars. The food reminds you of what your grandparents used to cook you on the weekend. The only thing I wasn’t aware of or prepared for was the fact that they are cash only. It likely said it on the door when I walked in, and the waitress had no issues with me running to the ATM just outside.

All my life I have never ate at The Grove. Not because I didn’t want to but the few times we attempted to it was to busy and we just did not want to wait
All of the food was delicious, the only complaint that I have is that my hash browns were only half cooked. I took a bite and half of them were basically raw.
The waitresses were super nice and accommodating.

The food was nothing special and the service was not that friendly. I had the french toast special which was a bit soggy and the bacon was overcooked. An older man who was not my waiter asked to collect my plate when I still had food on it and it seemed like he wanted me to leave.
