Why this place has 4.7 the burger or not made fresh,
The fries I think are air fryed. I guess people in this area dont care for good tasting food.

We were greeted as we walked in. The lighted menu was on the wall and easy to read. The waitress was over to our table promptly, was friendly and offered the lunch specials. My husband took the special, which was served within 5 minutes. I ordered a delux cheeseburger and curly fries, which was served timely and was juicy and done just right. I recommend this cafe.

We are on a road trip and we’re passing through town around lunch time. We were glad we stopped. The special was a BLT, Watermelon and Potato Salad. It was excellent. Best potato salad I’ve had in a long time. I’m glad we gave it a try.

We came for hunting, as our Thanksgiving was canceled due to the Pandemic. Since it was a last minute decision, we didn’t do a lot of shopping. Got here later than expected, and realized everything was closed, so we thought it was gonna be a canned soup kind of Thanksgiving. After hunting all day, we popped in hoping for actual food, but not getting our hopes up just an case.
Boy, were we surprised! Delicious Thanksgiving meal: smokey ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, a hot dinner bun, and GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE! It was a delightful surprise! Three kinds of home baked pies, that were all delish!
The waitress was the nicest kind of server, very genuine. It is a clean and well done restaurant. Did not have a “local bar” feel. The mounts on the wall are tasteful, and not dust collectors. We were so happy to discover this little gem in one of our favorite small towns. Thank you, Ranchers B&C, for making our Thanksgiving so surprisingly delightful!

Service was pretty good and the place was clean. It’s a local watering hole in a small town, so you get to experience that. Some of the food was good, including the onion rings, but the fries were under cooked (white, not golden brown, the pizza was a frozen pizza (Tombstone, it says on the menu), the ribeye wasn’t seared or seasoned, and the battered cod wasn’t golden brown, though it wasn’t under/over-cooked (the breading just wasn’t cooked right and didn’t end up golden brown or crisp; same with the fries).

The food was good, and the service was as well. The restaurant says that it is a bar and cafe, but it is 90℅ bar and only a small table to the side of it is cafe. It’s a typical small-town bar that had a few slot machines and personable bartender. The tap water is very alkaline and the bartender recommended bottled water for non locals. Overall, a quiet spot to get some good food and alcoholic beverages.
