Stopped by Five Guys in Hillsborough, NJ on my lunch break and had a great experience. It wasn’t too busy, and I got my order pretty quickly. The burger was fresh and juicy, the fries were hot and generous, and everything tasted high quality. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Definitely a great lunch spot!

Friendly staff, good food and love that they still offer the self-service peanuts! Dual touchscreen soda machines to keep the wait short. Only comment is that is felt like 55 degrees there. We ate with our jackets on. Not sure what that’s about.

I like Five Guys, but this particular location doesn’t seem to put on the heat. I went there tonight and it must’ve been 60 degrees in there. I wasn’t the only one eating with their jacket still on. It made for a not so great experience…I had to quickly eat and leave. This isn’t the first time it’s been cold in there. Not sure I’d go back there in the winter.

Five Guys is unfortunately another example of a great place that soured. The burgers are no longer tasty. The fries are way too soggy even though they make them fresh. They switched to some sort of pouch for the fries. Lastly, it’s gotten way too expensive even for a small family. Go to 30 burgers in bound brook or somewhere else if I want a burger

I usually don’t write about franchises, but this Five Guys is worth mentioning. They cook their burgers to perfection – juicy and delicious with fresh meat. Plus, the unlimited peanuts are a nice touch. The fries are a bit salty and greasy, but even a small size is generous enough for two or three people. I also tried the chocolate with Oreo cookies shake, which was a bit too sweet. It could be healthier with more peanut butter or dark chocolate and less added sugar. Conveniently located at the corner of a local outdoor market in Hillsborough, next to Route 206. The staff is friendly, and there’s plenty of seating both inside and outside.

Staff were great and everything was fast. However the price does not match good quality. The milkshake tasted exactly like McDonald’s which is equally good but priced much higher here, also burgers and fries were very greasy. Also wish there are combo options.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend visiting this location the quality of the food is terrible. My fries were over cooked to the point where I thought I was eating potato chips. Granted I went back in to have them be made over and they came back in edible condition. When I got home and took a bite of my burger it was completely pink throughout the burger. For a company that promotes only well done burgers this is completely unacceptable. The team at this location needs more training to understand the importance of making sure the food is up to the five guys standards that you guys promote

Can’t order a cheeseburger on National Cheeseburger Day with the discount code ‘HALFCB’. Plus, the manager, Maria, doesn’t speak English, so a translator had to explain why the store can’t honor the code from storefront end.
