First time here for trivia night. Great atmosphere, surprisingly warm & comfy on one of the coldest nights of 2026. Great menu with a huge selection of beers, hard ciders & a couple of wines to meet anyone’s taste buds; which was a great surprise as many beer brewing company’s do not offer wine. We highly recommend the Brussel sprouts as it’s a nice size portion for two to share. The cider was outstanding as well as the Tropical beer (can) was tasty too.
Our waitress was friendly & knowledgeable of the libation menu as well as the food. Plenty of seating for small or large groups .

Yo, so we stopped to get some lunch and beers on our way up to Vermont, and Jared hooked us up. Had some funny jokes and overall great hospitality. The food was sooo good, totally impressed us for a small brewery. We got the poutine, burgers, chicken bites and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. I loved the crushable beers, but our group found their own IPA they liked and the Creamsicle one was a hit. Thanks for the great lunch outing!

Ordered the chicken bites and the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Both were barely edible. Either the chicken was fried to death or just poor quality — hard to tell, but it was not good.

Unfortunately, the pizza used the exact same chicken bites, which made even less sense on a thin crust since the pieces were huge and didn’t fit the pizza at all.

The food was disappointing, but the service was good. Come here if you want some decent brews, but don’t waste your time or money on the food.

This is my favorite place. Amazing beers, ABSOLUTELY GREAT BARTENDERS, great food, I love the chicken sandwich, and especially the not so common burger. We come here weekly. It’s a great place to bring friends and to unwind for the week.

Wonderful Brew pub in glens falls. On par with the best brew pubs I’ve ever seen. Staff is very friendly. Pizza is very good. Great outdoor seating area and spacious indoor tables as well. And most importantly, a number of awesome beverages to choose from. Good luck deciding, they’re all good.

Staying in nearby Lake George and had some of their beers at the Georgian Resort so we decided to take a short ride to the brewery. We opted to sit at the bar but there were also indoor and outdoor tables available. We tried several beers and they were all good but the highlight was the food. I had the Nashville Blues Burger which might possibly be the best burger I’ve ever had. It was made with a spicy pork and beef blend. I think I would make the 4 hour trip from home just to have that burger. We also had homemade chips and dip and a 3Bs Knees pizza and everything was amazing. We will definitely return.

We hosted my daughter’s baptism party at Common Roots yesterday and we were so blown away by the entire team. We had over 60 guests and everyone had a great time. The events coordinator, Chad, is a gem. The food and drinks were fantastic, presentation was beautiful, and they could not have been more accommodating to our large, rambunctious group. I was little iffy when I first reached out about the event rental fee, but Chad explained the pricing structure and it makes complete sense. It was money well spent – I felt like we had a personal event planner. If you are considering hosting an event at Common Roots, just do it because you won’t be disappointed!

Common Roots was the perfect spot to eat, drink and chill after a long hike. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The smash burger was stellar and the shreddie ipa was crushable. We wish we had a Common Roots outpost closer to where we live in the Catskills, but we’ll definitely be back. They’re dog friendly on the patio, and the whole space feels roomy and comfortable.

Again, this is a thing that maybe I would find it to be a common courtesy thing, but… if you’re going to be a self service/order at the bar or via cell phone, put a disclaimer of some sort for new visitors.

Overall, Common Roots was a very nice place to visit on a beautiful day. If you don’t know, there’s parking in the back.

The food? I guess appropriately priced, but one could argue it was a bit pricey. But I give tons of credit to establishments that support local businesses and have a small, concentrated menus.

Ordered the special of peach cobbler with chicken and biscuit. The chicken was the Nashville hot style, and got a side salad. The pretzel and cheese sauce was good, and the fries were great. Lastly ordered poutine fries. The portion was larger than I thought it would be!!!

Outside was dog friendly. Not sure if inside is too… had a local florist pull into the yard area. I also don’t understand those triangle coverings… but would recommend coming here!! Will be coming back.

Loved this family friendly brewery/restaurant that we visited for the first time in N.Y. …. we’re visiting friends and decided to go to this place with the young ones for an early dinner. It was a lovely day and the exterior was welcoming and comfortable with picnic tables and resin chairs. The pizzas were delicious and creative and the appetizers were tasty as well. The piece de resistance however was the excellent brews on offer. I tried three stouts and they were all delicious. I got a little taste of the “creamsicle” IPA, and was astounded by the perfect blend of flavors that heartened back to past memories of that wonderful flavor of ice cream on a stick. Perhaps the perfect day of sunshine and mild temperatures led to the exuberant feeling of pleasure and friendship that we all felt. But certainly the Common Roots experience was a wonderful one that will happily reside in our memories can’t wait to return later this summer when we revisit our family in N,Y.
