The Salmon fish and chips was okay, but one person in our group got a rather dry Ruben. We went outside for the live music and to enjoy some beers and food and we would have stayed for another drink, but they seemed in a hurry for getting us out of there so we left. Decent food, but I will probably try elsewhere for food in Bonners Ferry.

We stopped into have a light snack as we were driving around the area. It is beautiful territory. The staff was very helpful and knew quite a bit about the different brews. I was able to try some of their ciders which were very good. My husband loved all of there beers. We tried the Beer Cheese Soup and the Bavarian Soft Pretzel. The soup was saltier than we have had before. They also served the pretzel with a Little Dipper of the soup. If we would have known that we could have only bought the pretzel. The soup was better with the pretzel. It took away some of the salt taste.
It is was very clean. It was their slow time for customers so they were cleaning windows, etc. to get ready for the Friday rush. And they were all very nice and honest. I forgot my purse in the bathroom and they brought it out to find the owner. I am so blessed. If ever in town we would definitely go back.

Friendly service and great atmosphere. The beers were pretty good but the Wild Caught Alaskan Wrap was AMAZING.

The food is very good and the servers go above and beyond. This is my 2nd time here, once for dinner and once for lunch. I would recommend to my friends.

What happened to this place? I’m sitting here on a Friday night and no one else is sitting in the tables section. Food is bad, flies buzzing around me (I’m sitting inside), & it’s DEAD. This place used to be BUSY. Makes me so sad. Bring back the quality of this restaurant! They dont have their huckleberry season beer either …owners please do better. We need good restaurants out here.

I really want to love Kootenai river brewing, but Im not even quite sure I like it. The huckleberry wheat was fantastic and so were the 4 guest ciders I got a flight of, but the food was just not that that good. First of all the menu lists an Idaho smash as a smash burger. Well it’s just a regular burger, definitely not a smash burger. Also I’m not sure why any burger would come on sourdough sandwich bread instead of a hamburger bun….some changes definitely need to be made. Also, I got the beer cheese soup as my side. It’s absolutely horrible. I thought that it had the consistency and taste of toothpaste. Beer cheese soup should be salty and creamy, this soup was pasty and sweet!! Huge thumbs down. Our server was nice, but theres just more downsides to upsides with the restaurant. There’s not many eating options later in the night in Bonner’s Ferry, but I would personally just get drinks here and avoid the food!

If you want a good cider or beer then there is no problem.
We sat down and ordered a beer and cider but the waitress failed to put my wife’s cider in the system and had to flag her down to get it. We ordered 2 roasted garlic burgers and one order of garlic fries along with ketchup and garlic aoli. The ketchup was forgotten so waitress had to go back. The food was sub par. My wife’s burger was over cooked and both were very greasy. No garlic flavor what so ever on anything. Just bland.
In the past the food used to match the beer quality but not anymore. Not worth the 50 bucks i spent. I dont think ill be coming back and that a shame because I used to really liked this place.

It was a Sunday night and it was empty. But the sourdough burger was well worth the stop. BEST burger I’ve had in years! A MUST if looking for a burger in Bonners Ferry.

Food was decent. They have something people like called beer cheese soup…wasn’t my favorite, but the cauliflower wings were good. Fish n chips were good. Drinks were good. Pesto chicken sandwich was good. Didn’t care for the green bean fries but they were okay. Good onion rings.

I ordered the pretzel and side of fries. Great portion of fries as you can see in pic. Pretzel was a tad doughy and the beer cheese seemed more beer than cheese.
Server greated us right when we walked in. Took our order as soon as we were ready and the place was about half full.
The building is old and run down but I feel it adds to the charm. Tables, chairs, and overall place was upkept and seemed newer.
My partner had the flatbread pizza and loved it.
I’d definitely come back.
