The place was highly recommended and drove to Visalia to judge for myself .The food was so authentic and I rarely call food authentic. The location was a few blocks right off the highway and worth the drive. Nice old historic building converted with bar and restaurant the menu had so many offerings and were available. Oops going on way longer than usual. Just Go ENJOY. We did.

Discovered this place about 3 months ago and have eaten here so many times since. Mostly just with my husband but have also come as a huge group of like 13 or so and literally have only been disappointed once. Service is always on point. Morning chef is the absolute best and our servers are usually Liz and Daphne, both of which are amazing and very attentive. I recommend their molcajete!!! That is my go-to meal of choice when eating out but theirs is top notch. Haven’t had a better one anywhere else. Tortas, tacos, and pozole are also great choices. Asada is perfect flavor and quality.

Oh my!!! So glad we found this place. Huachinango Frito!!! Finally found a place that serves a whole deep fried Red Snapper with rice, beans and salad. Ohhh so yummy!!! Ate at the bar area with the beautiful stained glass and TV’s all around to watch games. Will come back and try their other dishes on their menu.

Loved it! From the start our Server and Host David welcomed us in very warmly, took our order very quickly.
The Chips and Salsa were fantastic, I love spicy and the salsa for sure hit the spot.
We also got the Camarones Rellenos and the Green Chilaquiles. I would definitely get them again.

By far my favorite spot whenever I’m in the Valley. If you’re in town and craving an unforgettable meal, California Tacos Seafood & Bar is the place to be. The craft cocktails are incredible, the tacos are easily the best you’ll ever taste, and the staff is always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. You truly can’t go wrong with this place.

I had a great meal yesterday and today my credit card was charged an extra $4. When I called the restaurant to get it straightened out I was promised a return call from the manager. I never received the call and now I can’t get anyone to answer my calls. I have called the restaurant over 50 times.

We recently went to have dinner and celebrate a friend’s birthday on the 23rd, and the experience did not disappoint. The booth we had was comfortable and the chips and salsa were good. Started with some drinks with margaritas and a Daiquiri; the blood orange margarita on the rocks was really good. We had taquitos and enchiladas which were also good. But what made the overall experience great was Krystal. She was kind, professional, and so personable; which you don’t see or experience often. She made us feel comfortable and at home, never like we had to be in any rush. Big thank you to Krystal! We’re eager to go back so we can get a taste for breakfast.

All the employees are very nice and friendly. The waitress found a booth for my brother and I very quickly. They have 2 tv’s there so you can watch your favorite sports team. The food is excellent at a very reasonable price. The waitress kept checking in on us to make sure everything was alright ( which it was). They also serve pitchers of beer, which really scored points with me. Great place for Mexican food and beer. 5-20-25, Les S.
