Craved a hot dog and found myself at the Bend Airport eating the Best Hot Dogs in the Universe. Very interesting menu and a great bang for your buck! I tried the “Phat Dog” and it was pretty out of character of me to try cream cheese in a hot dog, but was pleasantly surprised of the fusion of flavors. Definitely going to come back for breakfast soon.
The staff on-site was a very kind man, who followed up with us and assured we were pleased with our meals. You can really tell he is proud of his establishment and takes care of his clients.

This spot is AMAZING! I always come here for their meat omelette and it has never disappointed me once. If you like a great atmosphere and a nice view of planes landing and taking off while you eat, this is the perfect spot to go. Highly recommend everybody try it out!

Went today because of all the positive reviews. Had what is probably one of the least-enjoyable hot dogs and experiences in a long time. Over 50% of my meal went into the trash can.
* Menus are inconsistent and incorrect. This may not seem like a big deal, but it is…especially when not only did the item I needed to make sure was not on my dog was NOT going to be on my dog, the things that I was told WOULD be on my dog were not. I asked…they said “the menu was wrong”…Come on…this is not right. “Aoili” is not on the menu item list, and yet that’s what he said was on the dog, not on one of the menus, on the other menu…so on.
* 5 minutes at the counter before 1/2 of my party’s order was taken…then they started working on their order, then a few minutes later turned to basically complete taking the order…we literally arrived at the same time, were standing at the counter discussing the menu at the same time…were talking with the guy at the same time…were expecting to order at the same time…and yet…
* 23 minutes…for the order to arrive…to the point where we were literally standing up to go find out what was going on when the buzzer beeped. 2…hot dogs…2 French fries…that was the order. 23 minutes.
* Still wondering if our order was de-prioritized because the airport manager was there…her order, and that of her 2 co-workers…was placed AFTER ours, drinks and so on arrived BEFORE our meal…they were eating before we ever even got up to find out where our food was. THAT is going to be followed-up on for sure.
EDITED TO ADD: I had a pleasant conversation with the airport manager after leaving this review. I am confident that her order was NOT prioritized over ours. So I will consider this issue closed.
* Food quality was not only not good…the onions were burned and made the dog horrible. There was nothing (pineapple, sauce…). The bun was dry. The fries were warm…not hot…overcooked…
Honestly…I’m debating going back and give this a try again. A buddy of mine is a regular, and he was telling me how much he enjoyed their selection and service. I trust him…I see the reviews…but there is literally no way I would ever recommend this.

If you’re flying into Bend or just passing through the airport, do not miss this hidden gem! The hot dogs and fries here are consistently amazing—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection every time. You can really tell they care about quality.
The prices are super fair too, especially for an airport spot. It’s rare to find food this good at this kind of value, let alone while watching planes take off and land.
