The food was good. I enjoyed my meal and there were no complaints from my guests. I asked them to repair the strawberry drink tap because it wasn’t working properly, and they did. All in all, it was a good experience, this is my second time in this particular store. Cleanliness could use a little more effort, but I would still come back.

I bought a 10-piece fried chicken meal, and when I got home and was halfway through eating, I found one piece that had clearly been bitten and then re-cooked. It was really disturbing. I’ve bought fried chicken from them many times before and never experienced anything like this. I just want to remind everyone to check carefully when eating, and if you encounter a similar situation, please report it to the health department.

We just stopped for a quick bite to eat. I really enjoyed the fried okra. It was fresh and hot. It was nice and crispy. Good for a quick bite. We got some jalapeños for extra flavor and spice. Everything was hot. They had a special going on too. We got the leg and thighs and chicken stripes special. With Mac n cheese, coleslaw and fried okra. It was a reasonable price. It worked out well for us. We were heading back home 85 miles away.

The first order I placed had to be returned. The chicken was old and had a large amount of feathers still attached. When I took it back they were not friendly nor were they willing to give me a refund at first. Finally they refunded my money I purchased a side order of okra that cost $3.25

I think it’s time for the older gentleman at the window to be moved to a different position. I said my order 3x clearly and he could not hear on speaker. Went to the window and said what I needed another 2x. A 3piece tender combo. When I get to work I had 3 huge pieces of chicken! Definitely not what I wanted for lunch and it didn’t even taste fresh, I’m very disappointed.

This place has different sides than many and the staff at this N Penn location near Britton Road has been there for years and knows what to do.

I had to change my review. The employee’s have changed since my last review. I bought a box of chicken and it had hair fried into the batter .
My husband was pulling it out of his throat. I’m very disappointed this place has gotten disgusting. Never again. Be very careful about eating her. It’s not the same staff as it was before. They didn’t want to give me my money back at first but I was so angry they had no choice but to. God knows what else they are frying in the chicken.
