I recently moved to the Puyallup area and as a real estate agent I find myself working on the go. This is a great place to stop and get some desk work done before I get home.
The place is always super clean on entry, no matter how busy it is – Including the bathrooms. The service is top notch and staff is friendly, and I can always find a place to sit. Not to mention my coffees have been great! I typically order a couple of shots of espresso with cream, and at most Starbucks it’s a 50-50 chance on it being good or too bitter. These guys have made my drinks great every single time… I’m really impressed and thankful to have this space near my home.

Some of the leaders here could use better training with treating customers appropriately at times. Apparently there is a starbucks policy at this store specifically that will kick out customers for having a friendly harmless conversation.

So, it appears I was taught a new rule today. Apparently, if your personal cup has any coffee residue in it then they cannot accept it as a personal cup. It doesn’t matter if the residue is from your first cup of coffee that you ordered there. Of course yesterday and the day before this apparently was not a rule because they had no problem accepting my Starbucks mug that had Starbucks coffee residue in it as a personal cup. Hey, but at least the barista offered to allow me to take my mug to the bathroom to rinse my mug out so she could accept it as a personal mug. Really, take it to a bathroom to rinse it out? Because that’s cleaner then the coffee that I just finished that I had bought from Starbucks.
The store was clean, impeccably so and the food was… Starbucks food. Neither good nor bad. But the service was so bad that I would recommend that you go to the Starbucks inside the Fred Meyers in the same parking lot.

Morning around 8:30 decided to question me being a partner after giving her my numbers and my id proceeded to interrogate me about not linking it with my app and the fact I had nails on (im on vacation)! I would happily love to give my store # and have you confirm! Personally I would never question and go along with the id as store policy. Unfortunately my out of state starbucks experience was not well due to this worker.

When I asked for the restrooms password to a young redhair female employee behind the bar she told with irrespectful tone that restrooms were only for customers when I clearly was a customer, after the mgr showed up and all was clear this employee never apologized and still kept an “attitude”.

Best Starbucks in this area only ones better are in Tacoma or Seattle. Don’t know why none know specialty drinks but these guys got it done. Thx!
