The first time we tried this place we got a take out order of wings, bacon wrapped jalapenos, ribs, mac & cheese, cornbread, banana pudding, and sweet potato fries. It was all very good!!! We were pleasantly surprised to have such a great restaurant near our home. Well, we finally came in person, and it was delicious! Great catfish, pulled pork, greens, and mashed potatoes. The service was awesome, too! We will definitely keep coming back!
Update: we just went back again last night and the brisket and everything else was so good! Joe was our server, and he was really nice, and very helpful. My only regret with last night’s visit? We didn’t save room for dessert!
Update: we went back again after almost a year and had a three meat combo meal, wolf turds (again because they’re so good!), and the key lime pie! Everything was very good!

I had the pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw and potato salad. All three were delicious. The homemade sauces they serve are also very good. I was almost tempted to put a straw into each one and have it right out of the bottle! (But don’t.) The people working there are friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Nice atmosphere inside and plenty of parking around the building. Skip In-N-Out and come here. Way better.

Ordered food through UberEats at 2:30pm and did not receive my order until 4pm and it was cold, nasty and the catfish is not whole catfish they are catfish nuggets which is false advertising (see picture) and for the price I paid i absolutely disputed the charge and got my money back .

We went to visit our son in the Air Force, and he told us we had to try this place with him. I wish I had taken photos to show, but the food was SO good. They weren’t very busy, so I’m sharing with other AF Families… they gave a military discount too!

Service here is great. The food was just ok. They have this amazing cornbread. Was very disappointed in the catfish. The rib tips and ribs were good. The brisket was in the bland and dry side. The sausage I think was not cooked all the way so we didn’t really eat it. The fries gave a great seasoning on them.

Where do I start… I feel bad for this place. Honestly, the waiter was very sweet. Definitely not what I was expecting. The food was not tasteful, not even a little bit. The bbq sauce tasted expired and smelled disgusting. There was no southern taste at all. No culture. We were very disappointed. The food looked very old. The cornbread was horrible and hard. Even the look of the cornbread was nasty. Too grainy, the shape, texture, taste… How do you mess up cornbread?? The only thing good was the soda… every thing else was so so bad.
We paid $60 for 2 people. We didn’t eat anything, but still paid because we didn’t want to be those people or complain too much. The waiter asked us how they could improve the food and get more people in… we definitely were honest with her. Get some culture, and new cooks in there asap!! Or at least some salt. That food should not look nor taste like that. Those baked beans were more like pork and beans from the can. Even the small bit of the ribs I had tasted old.
This place has potential if the vibes and food can be somehow enhanced.

The hours of operation where incorrectly listed, so we ended up arriving just before closing. The crew on staff were occupied with cleaning up and closing, so our service was not as good as I would have hoped. Food was good, but not great. The brisket was overcooked, but the pulled pork was good. I ordered French fries with my meal, which I regret as they were just frozen fries and not made fresh. For the price we paid for our meal I would have expected a much higher quality meal.
