Wow! Very impressed with this place. We were driving back to vegas from cathedral park and decided to stop by. Service was amazing, friendly, genuine and prompt. The menu was varied and had plenty of good choices. I ordered the protein shake with the chicken sandwich and both were tasty. The location is historic but very well restored.

Didn’t have food – that is why I can’t give full 5 stars. I had cpl of drinks (1 cocktail and a pilsner) as a stop by to Utah. Nice ladies and service at the bar. Pleasant atmosphere. Wonderful drinks. Legendary story of original owner is a Bonus!! Recommend.

It’s one of the only places around – but perfect small town food. We had the turkey melt, pizza, fries, chicken fried steak, and a milkshake. We would stop again for the milkshake alone! Pizza was also amazing. The turkey melt was fine-nothing amazing- but a good size. Great fries. And great Diet Coke.

We stopped here twice in a week, first for lunch then came back later in the week for dinner. The lunch burger and grilled chicken sandwich were excellent. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very helpful. We brought friends back for dinner and we all had the steak dinner. Every thing was delicious and hot, the steaks were a little tough and gristly. The service was very good again. The desserts were amazing. Thank you for two very good meals.

Drove 30 min from Pioche for dinner as the options there were limited and we had tried them all in our short stay. This place was cute and friendly, clean. Clearly liked by locals (multiple people recommended it over Knotty Pine saying KP was “hit or miss”). Good beer on tap. Good dinner salad with mixed greens not just iceberg so that was a pleasant surprise. Got the fish and chips and French dip – we’d try something else next time. Not bad per se, not just worth having a second time.

Spent a month living out of a motel in Caliente for work, didn’t have many food options so ended up at the Side Track very often. Good variety of options on the menu, and everything I had was good, especially for a small town restaurant. Would definitely recommend a stop if you’re driving through or staying in town.

Everyone was right the service and food are top notch. They had a few big groups and several other customers but our order came out quickly and hot and fresh. We opted for a pizza and an appetizer and we ended up taking more than 1/2 home since it was pretty big! It warmed up well and was delicious reheated or cold as leftovers. The ladies were all friendly and it’s definitely the best place in town so if you’re passing through they have a good menu with lots of choices so stop in.
