Slogan says our biscuits are bigger than your problems! This is a true statement. Super good food. Best grits ever and by the looks of the other plates, we are going back. This is a must stop people!!!

Savory Southern Kitchen completely wowed us from start to finish!
The food was absolutely amazing—true Southern comfort with a creative, flavorful twist. Every bite tasted like it was made from scratch with love and care. The portions are massive (seriously, come hungry!)—way bigger than we expected, and definitely worth every penny.
We couldn’t resist grabbing the Blueberry Lemon Curd Doughnut Holes for a road snack… but let’s be honest—they didn’t even make it out of the parking lot. Perfectly fluffy, bursting with flavor, and just the right balance of sweet and tart.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere cozy yet lively, and everything came out fresh and hot. It’s the kind of place where you feel like family the moment you walk in.
If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Savory Southern Kitchen. Bring your appetite, because you’re going to want to try everything!

It’s pretty good food. The gravy is the best in town. The biscuits you can tell we’re made the day before. But they’re still good. Watching food come out of the kitchen while I was sitting at the bar there were a lot of really tasty good-looking dishes coming out.
I’ve only been there on a Sunday morning and it’s always very crowded. The restaurant is really small. But the service is Fast and the food comes out quick.

Great place for breakfast, love the atmosphere and vibes. I love to give 5 for any review I give but this time was a little different. My plate – chicken and waffles was amazing- tasty, hot and fresh. My husband got the burrito and it was cold but he still ate it. Service was ok.

It was so good we had to come back for another round. The crab cake Benny was to die for and the shrimp and grits was cooked to perfection

The food is AMAZING . It’s really popular so it’s normally crowded 9-12:30pm
It’s probably better to eat outside. The manager actually comes out to help serve food. I’ve been there about 4 times and one particular hostess made me uncomfortable when I asked for another table because of my anxiety issues. Which is probably because she wanted to save the bigger table for a larger party. So I made
Sure to leave a $10 tip for the inconvenience. But other than that I LOVE THE FOOD

Came in last week to celebrate my mom’s birthday. The food was amazing as usual and the service was even better! We sat at the bar with Alicia and she made our time there so special. She was very attentive and personable, had us laughing the whole time. We spilt the blackberry jam jar and the coffee flight and both were so delicious! We will definitely be back just for her!

For the last ~ 5 years, Savor has been my absolute favorite breakfast and brunch restaurant in Wilmington. It has the BEST food, cocktails, and service, and it’s unique, so my husband and I will drive across town to treat ourselves at Savor. We love the chicken and waffles, the “Lil Bit of Chicken Fried,” the “Hissy Fit,” the cheese grits, the amazing food specials, the boozy coffee flights, the Deluxe Bloody Mary, the mimosas, and more. Today, I ordered a boozy coffee flight with flavors of Dubai Chocolate, Butterscotch, and Chocolate Strawberry, and it was awesome! We have introduced most of our friends and family members to Savor, so we would recommend it to anyone in the area who likes delicious food and drinks. You don’t want to miss out.

Ok, I have lived in the Wilmington area for many years but it was this past month that I had opportunity to eat breakfast at Savor twice. Wow, what I was missing!

Voted the best breakfast spot in the Cape Fear area and stands up to that reputation.

Farm to Table taken seriously; so seriously that they post a board siting where individual foods are sourced locally. (A chalk board as these things change with availability)

Lovely helpful staff, fast paced and can be loud; one adjusts to this idiosyncratic atmosphere.

The food! Wow. Well done, affordable and delicious. I have had their Family Tradition Benny, hands down the best hollandaise in town, perfectly poached eggs and choice of two locally sourced hams. On another occasion, actually my first time I took a chance and ordered the Crab Cake Sliders ( I say took a chance as I am from Maryland and I don’t order crab cakes in NC) They did not disappoint. Well done Southerns.

My wife had the shrimp and grits, which were delicious! I had the steak and eggs and they were the best I have ever had! Staff was amazing and the food was very reasonably priced. Get any of the iced coffees!
