I ordered a grilled chicken quesadilla at Costa Vida and paid extra for 2 more ounces of chicken so it would be a decent portion… and they gave me literally 3 tiny pieces of chicken. I feel totally ripped off. I mean, if I hadn’t paid extra, would they have just given me a tortilla with cheese? Don’t waste your money—find a place where you actually get what you pay for.

Gave this location a chance a few times and something usually goes wrong. Order in-person inside the store or go to the Jordan Landing location for more reliable service.
Firstly, when they initially opened, they had parking stalls in the front of the store for curbside pickup. After marking “here” to alert the staff that you had arrived, I gave them 15 mins before I had to trek into the store myself to grab our order; it was just sitting on a shelf while staff just stood around.
: please do not offer curbside pickup if it is not a service you provide.
: be prepared for your curbside pickup orders to switch into in-store pickup without notice.
Secondly, on multiple occasions, we requested no rice on our burritos but end up with it anyway. Whether it be through online ordering or drive-thru ordering, rice is more times than not added. Even after verbally confirming with staff at the time of ordering, our order still gets made incorrectly. This is frustrating. Why are customizations offered if they cannot be honored? Why do I have to cut open every single burrito in the drive-thru/parking lot just to make sure the staff can read orders? Going to this location becomes more of an inconvenience than an enjoyable experience.

: be prepared to open your order right then and there to double-check for accuracy.
Now, you might be wondering why we keep going to this location if they always fall short. Fair question. We don’t frequent it; each of these visits was separated by months. We don’t believe in writing a place off after one bad experience. We gave this location multiple chances: maybe a new employee was being trained, or maybe the staff misread the instructions that one time. But after chances on separate occasions with the same result, it stops being a coincidence and becomes a pattern. The food itself is fine (2 stars); we just wish the service were up to par as well.

With the decline of quality in fast food restaurants, Costa Vita rises above everyone else in the area. The term “fast”. It takes the personality and charm out of food. The term fast means, getting things out as quick as possible. No cleaning up their messes just okay next, no talking just “what do you want” “okay” and “is that everything”. Costa vita and its workers here take their time to get to know you ask about the day as they take pride and care in your order. Shout out to night crew they bring a great atmosphere every-time. And credit is due to the management team who took time and hired good people to make this place what it is. Hope for a brighter future for Costa Vita as it is on the rise for the best Mexican-American food in Utah. Definitely coming back and best restaurant in the area.

Easily the best Costa Vida location, because: clean, happy, kind staff. They weigh your food, take their time (while still working efficiently), and they care about the experience the customer has. That simple! We drive 10 minutes out of our way to hit this location because it beats the other two that are closer to our house. Love it. Thanks for excellent service!!

I have Celiacs Disease and this location always handles my food by changing their gloves and washing their hands. They have corn chips and corn tortillas in separate places from the other food. The Manager there has a family member with Celiacs so he understands how careful they need to be. I have never had any issues eating here.

We have frequented the Jordan Landing location for years with very good efforts with gluten free precautions for preventing cross contamination. We were in line at this location, and actually left before ordering because the staff were constantly touching flour tortillas with serving utensils from various items( rice, beans, etc). We knew it would never be safe for a celiac to eat. I recommend you train staff to understand cross contamination, and save allergen practice. I understand eating out is a risk, but if we can eat at the Jordan landing licatuon, we should be able to eat here.

The shrimp has great flavor and made for a good surf and turf burrito! You can never go wrong with the raspberry chipotle chicken!
