Positives for food: Cheese dip was great. The salsa was sweet with a miniscule tinge of heat. Salsa with a little heat is a personal choice Those chips are thin and nicely cooked.
The remaining entrees was fair. As for mexican food, it’s inspired and not enough to say authentic Mexican. In my opinion, the food was bland in taste. In fairness, the tortilla and beans were the only portions of the entree that carried flavor.
The atmosphere and the service is great. The design is similar to other locations. The music is a little loud and at times its hard to talk.
They offer a happy hour special on their drinks.

We had a fantastic experience here. Being from Huntsville, we have eaten at the original iteration with mixed results. This location is fantastically better with a much elevated overall dining experience. The food was delicious and the staff exceptional to include the owner who was gracious and engaging. Highly recommended!

First visit, but won’t be our last! Nice atmosphere, colorful, very pleased. We were attending a party, the hosts provided food so we didn’t order from the menu. The food was very good! Drinks were great! They have an area for private parties, which is a big plus! Very enjoyable evening.

Cheese dip was great! Everything else, not so good. Ground beef was undercooked, red and raw in some places. The manager said it was cooked, “it is the type of meat that we get and we would not serve raw food”. I am not one to argue, so we asked to swap to chicken hoping for better. The chicken was cubed and pinkish in color, like canned chicken. We paid our bill and left. Unfortunately, we will not return.

Ordered off the lunch menu. I had the chicken fajitas which were fab! The chicken was moist and the freshly made tortillas served hot a treat! However my companion had the fish tacos which were disappointing since the fish portion on the taco was very small/ only 4 teaspoon size and overly fried fish pieces. For the price not worth it. Thus the 4 star review. Service very good as our server kept our drinks filled. First time here and would come again.

Wife and I went here looking to find something other than the ‘cookie cutter’ menu’s most Mexican restaurants littered all throughout Birmingham have. Being from Ft Worth originally, its hard to be impressed with most of the offerings here. The Manager, John explained how they had some new menu items. I decided on the new Mahi bowl served over cilantro rice, pico, and Guac. It was fantastic! Perfectly cooked and very flavorful. We pulled up a seat at the bar and were impressed by our very attentive and funny bartender, Tiffany. So many good things to say about this place. Not enough Mexican restaurants offer Chipotle style protein bowls, which I think is a huge missed opportunity, not everyone wants plain jane burritos and tacos. Its nice to find a restaurant that offers a great original dish with Mexican flavor. I’ll definitely be back!

First time dining here and we will definitely be back! The atmosphere was inviting and welcoming. We came on a Thursday and a live band was playing. The service was awesome as well! I ordered Chicken Avocado Nachos and it was a large portion and all of the flavors mixed well! The food was very tasty. We also ordered a taco salad which was seasoned perfectly. The chips and salsa that were served were great! The chips were hot, thin and crispy. The salsa was chunky and blended well with the chips. Next time we visit we will try the bar drinks. Great Mexican Restaurant!

Wow Wow Wow, I cannot express enough how amazing this establishment is. From the beautiful decor, the large colorful mural, the bar, just everything was excellent. The food was so fresh, colorful and well presented and the taste a burst of sunshine on the palate. Sharon was our server and was attentive and explained the menu. Definitely won’t be disappointed

Mexican is never my first food choice. I was impressed by a Tik Tok video where tableside guac was made (cause I do love fresh guac). Truly impressed. Service was wonderful. Our server communicated with us about our drink choice. We ordered Casa Nachos. They were served as individual nachos, with everything on them. It wasn’t just nachos mixed with cheese and Little meat. Total was about 10 nachos. They were seasoned with goodness in every bite. Our drink presentation came on a stand. The drink size was larger than we thought. The drinks weren’t too strong, made just right cause I’m a light weight. We went on a cold rainy night. I can’t wait to return when the weather is good for the patio seating.
