Il Bambino is a true neighborhood gem. I ordered the veal piccata with angel hair pasta, and it was absolutely delicious—the veal was tender, the lemon-caper sauce was perfectly balanced, and the pasta was light and cooked just right. For dessert, the limoncello cheesecake is incredible: creamy, refreshing, and the perfect ending to the meal.
We dine here regularly and what always elevates the experience is our waitress, Dayana. She is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her recommendations are always spot-on, and she always makes us feel taken care of without ever rushing us. Service like hers is what makes us want to come back all the time. .

We had a family dinner for 15 people and had a wonderful experience. Jose, our waiter along with the rest of the wait staff did a great job to ensure we all had a good time. Our food was delicious, we had the back room to ourselves, we didn’t feel rushed to finish. It was an overall wonderful experience.

I been coming to this excellent restaurant for many years. Once you open the door you feel at home, they welcome you with a smile and most of the time with a friendly handshake. The food is excellent and the service is as good as the food. If you want to enjoy a day or night of great food and great service make it point to give them a visit and most likely you will write a review as positive as mine is.

It was my first time here. I am not a big fan of Italian food but, that changed with il bambino. The service was great and FAST. The food was fresh & DELICIOUS. Jose was BEYONG amazing. He found out it was our first time here and treated us to a dessert. Tiramisu is hit or miss…. Here I HAD 2. I cant wait to come back and eat here again. Love this place.

We have been here a few times and considered it a local neighborhood gem. However the last times we have dined in, there has been a significant drop off in quality and service. The food comes out inconsistent, whether its due to a change in kitchen staff / chef or if they have shifted to a lower quality of food, its just plain bad.
Regarding the service, they rush you now. They are interested in over a quick turnover, rarely show up to refill drinks/water and mostly disappear and have to wait excessively for service. This happens when they are busy or when they are not.
One more thing to add, the restaurant has allowed street vendors to come in and interrupt your meal to sell you items. Everything ranging from flowers to chocolate…overall not exactly something you expect for a place that charges you somewhat premium prices.
Unfortunately we will no longer be dining there.

I had an incredible experience at this Italian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh & flavorful. The cozy atmosphere made the evening even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Jose, who was by far the best waiter I’ve ever had. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend this place and be sure to ask for Jose when you visit!

A quaint little ltalian restaurant with homemade cuisine just west of the Palmetto Expressway on Bird Road. since 1989. Boasting authentic flavors and warm, family-style hospitality, ensuring every meal feels like home. Beautiful decor and atmospher with excellent service. Maybe more for special occasions as on the more expensive side for Italian restaurants. I had one of the best Lobster Ravioli that I have ever had, with a slab of lobster in the middle of the plate, but it was a special so may not always be available. Definitely worth a visit for Italian food lovers.

I’ve been going to this restaurant ever since I was small, and it’s always been amazing. The food is so fresh and prepared so well (my favorites are the lasagna, chicken francese, meatballs, and cannoli), staff are super friendly, and the menu has a large variety of foods to try. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone, it’s a must!!

I had a delightful experience on my first visit to Il Bambino Restaurant. The food was enjoyable, with the chicken cordon bleu and 4 cheese flat bread pizza standing out. The service was prompt and efficient, pleasing everyone in our group. The only minor drawback was the slightly cramped ambiance due to the close arrangement of chairs and tables, but this did not overshadow the overall positive experience.
