Very surprisingly authentic Asian food tucked away in a quiet and unassuming corner. The ambience is humble, the service is relaxed but the daily lunch specials are value for money and yummy tummy filling!

General Tao was great, one of the best I’ve had in a while. Would definitely recommend. Rice was definitely not fresh but still tasty.

If you’re ever craving Chinese take-out, this is the place to go. I’ve tried plenty of spots over the years, and honestly nothing compares. The food here is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying — it hits the spot every single time.

Of course, it’s Chinese take-out, but what makes this place stand out is the quality you get for the price. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot-on, and the value is unbeatable. You end up paying much less than what the food is truly worth, which makes it an easy choice whenever that craving hits.

Whether it’s a quick weeknight dinner, a late-night order, or just a comfort-food fix, they deliver exactly what you want — fast, tasty, and reliable. It’s the kind of place that quickly becomes your go-to spot, because you know it’s always going to be good.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best Chinese take-out in town. Once you try it, you’ll see why it stands above the rest.

Food is horrible. I ordered the salt and pepper seafood – never seen anything like this. Cantonese noodle is the most basic dish for cantonese – it has the right ingredients, but wrong noodles and final product is not impressive at all. At least the beef and chinese brocolli was decent. But I am definitely not going there again. I do not recommend it you are looking for cantonese cuisine. On the good side – service was quick.

I ordered the curry shrimp with coconut milk, it’s absolutely delicious! It’s nice and spicy, but not overpowering, and the ingredients tasted so fresh. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and this place holds so many great memories for me. Sadly, the food hasn’t been tasting the same lately. The quality and flavor just aren’t where they used to be, which is heartbreaking to see. I truly hope they can get back to their original standards—I’d love to keep supporting my favorite childhood spot.

Their general tao is 70% dough and fat and 30% meat. Thats if you’re lucky. It’s a shame because they used to make great Chinese food but quality has severely gone down.

They don’t even know how to make a proper Hot and Sour soup now. Everything sucks avoid this place until they do better.

Best General Tao’s chicken in all of Montreal. They have a general tao chicken/fried pork loin special that comes with steamed/fried rice and a drink for under $13. Lunch time special menu is worth it. Typical average service no frills asian restaurant.

Really great value and excellent food quality. We ordered a few noodle dishes, fried seafood and general Tao. The dishes were tasty and you can really taste the smoke of the wok. The servers are kind and the place had a steady flow of customers. Most orders are for takeout but they do have a small dining area. Lots of regulars that came in and even though the atmosphere is not so cozy, the food is worth it! Will definitely come again.

Great portions, well priced but each dish was way too salty. Rather than the flavours of the items and ingredients coming together, each bite was basically sodium.
