We stopped here while in town for the black walnut festival car show. The outside does not look that inviting so I was a bit nervous. Upon entering we were told to seat ourselves and were greeted very quickly. We both ordered the burger and fries and it came out quickly and hot and perfectly cooked. It was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Give it a try!

First time to eat at Route 33 Steakhouse and it definitely will not be my last. Excellent service and the meal was great. Might have been the best steak I’ve had in a long time. Baked potato was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend.

First time here at the Route 33 Steakhouse. We were passing through Spencer WV and this place came up as a great place to eat. We both ordered a supper meal. My wife had the chicken tenders meal. You could tell they were hand cut and breaded. A unique taste. I had the 12 oz Ribeye. It was grilled to my liking and the flavor was amazing. Both meals were served with two sides. I would highly recommend this restaurant as a place to eat and enjoy your meal(s). The owner of this place was more than glad to check on his guests while we were here. Great job everyone!

Last evening my daughter and I decided to dine in. I had a filet and she had shrimp. She swore it was the very best she’d ever had. I have to agree. My steak was pure perfection.

Went on a Friday, place was almost dead inside (not a good sign). Extremely mediocre. Waiter didn’t even speak English so almost everyones order on an 8 top was wrong in one way or another. Steaks ordered medium-rare came out shoe leather well-done. Steak ordered medium came out blue-rare. Half the appetizers were missing. “loaded” baked potato might as well have been plain with how little it had on it. the loaded cheese fries the table got came with zero cheese or bacon. the only good food anyone got that day was fried pickles and normal french fries (which were just ore-ida restaurant style frozen). honestly best thing you can say about this joint is that its clean inside.

Service was excellent. Ribeye steak was low quality meat. Ribbons of stringy fat, too much fat, and too chewy. Recommend investing in better steak knives. If you are going to charge a premium price, then you should serve a premium product.
